As Housekeeping Lead, your job will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms while maintaining and adhering to housekeeping detail standards. Replenishes supplies as needed and sort/count unit inventory. Ensure compliance with all department and company procedures. Maintain a positive guest experience and relationships with guests and handle any guest concerns with great resolution. Additionally, you will ensure resort guests and resort property are well protected within proper housekeeping guidelines.
**How you'll Make an Impact:**
+ Cleans resort units to include sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms:
+ Maintains and adheres to housekeeping detail standards. Cleans, vacuums, dusts, and sanitizes bathrooms, kitchens, and lobbies.
+ Makes beds. Replenishes supplies, such as kitchenware and toiletries. Sorts, counts, folds, mark, or carries linens.
+ Observe precautions required to protect resort guests and guest property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
+ Maintain positive customer and associate relationships.
+ Respond appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction.
+ Handle guest issues to resolution in effort to improve the guest experience and escalate any outstanding guest inquiry or concern to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up.
+ Make appropriate service recovery recommendations. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
+ Ensure compliance with: Internal Audit, Quality Assurance, Loss Prevention, Resort Operating Procedures, Guest Service Department Operating Procedure, and Standard Operating Procedures.

The Southern California Mountains Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that believes connecting communities to our public lands is the key to their survival. We mobilize individuals to inspire and engage in environmental citizenship. The Southern California Mountains Foundation supports youth development through conservation initiatives integrating environmental education, training and hands-on service projects; protects our natural resources through adult and family-led programming; and provides interpretive services that focus on outdoor recreation, responsible use, and stewardship of our natural environment. The Southern California Mountains Foundation consists of 45 full-time staff, 75-100 part-time employees and 550 volunteers. We achieve our mission through seven programs: (1) Urban Conservation Corps of the Inland Empire, (2) Big Bear Discovery Center, (3) Off-Highway Vehicles, (4) Fire Lookouts, (5) National Childrens Forest, (6) Music in the Mountains and (7) Big Bear Trails.
Introduction to The Big Bear Discovery Center
The Big Bear Discovery Center program is a Southern California Mountains Foundation program that supports one of the main visitor centers for the San Bernardino National Forest. Opened in 1998, the Big Bear Discovery Center is the largest visitor center in the Big Bear Valley that welcomes more than 100,000 yearly visitors to experience weekly interpretive programs and educational information about the Forest. The Discovery Center hosts special events like outdoor concerts, theater productions, and nighttime interpretive programs in the Big Bear Discovery Center Amphitheater. The goal of the Discovery Center Program is to ensure that every visitor is able to enjoy and heighten their awareness to become more knowledgeable and responsible caretakers of the San Bernardino National Forest. The Mountains Foundation accomplishes this through providing interpretive programs and assisting the Forest Service in providing information services.
Job Description:
The Discovery Center Manager is responsible for managing all operations at the center in partnership with the Forest Service. The manager provides direction, coordination, and consultation for all volunteer, staff and intern functions within the Big Bear Discovery Center to 1) Strengthen public or private programs and 2) Involve a community of supporters as described in the duties outlined below. The Discovery Center Manager is responsible for and staffing all educational and interpretive programs for the Big Bear Discovery Center as well as managing gift store operations. The manager will recruit, train, supervise and mentor volunteers and interns in order to provide quality information services and educational programs at the Discovery Center. The manager will be responsible for providing all the listed program services in the absence of volunteers or interns.
Job Duties:
- Operate visitor service desk in partnership with Forest staff. Respond to phone call inquiries regarding general information, public relations, scheduling, events, and complaints.
- Develop, update and present educational programs to the public. Provide training to staff, interns and volunteers on education programs to be presented at the Discovery Center.
- Recruit, train and manage volunteer participants at the Discovery Center. Provide ongoing support and guidance for volunteers. Ensure volunteers are trained to support the various areas of operations, to include visitor service areas, exhibits and education, special events, development and administration.
- Recruit, train, and manage seasonal internship positions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and professional associations.
- Develop an annual calendar of events and execute all activities at the Discovery Center, including eco tours, school programs and interpretive programs. Handle telephone, voicemail, written, and email inquiries for information regarding tours and group visits.
- Author written communications such as newsletters, blogs, social media, press releases, instructions, or other media as appropriate.
- Perform as sponsor for the volunteer advisory council. Provide guidance, advice and direction to the volunteer advisory council. Ensure advisory council activities are aligned with the mission and vision of SCMF & USFS.
- Collaborate with other SCMF volunteer programs, including Fire Lookouts, OHV, Trails, UCC, and Restoration.
- Identify community outreach opportunities for the organization such as fairs, festivals, local markets and organizations. Maintain a schedule of opportunities and other SCMF events.
- Remain current in general office technology. Train volunteers to use office and specialized equipment when appropriate.
- Coordinate facility management efforts for SCMF staff & volunteers to maintain the physical environment so its viable for the intended purpose to include; Nature Discovery Zone, SCMF offices, gift store and interpretive areas of BBDC. Communicate facility management efforts to Forest staff.
- Manage gift store coordinator staff and train volunteers on store operations. Maintain gift store POS system, inventory, stock shelves and ensure cleanliness of work and storage areas. Compile merchandise order requests and work with the Assistant Executive Director to fill orders.
- Maintain accurate records on accomplishments and interpretive program participation.
- Maintain inventory of office and program supplies, place supply orders as needed.
- Develop, update and maintain Discovery Center Operations Manual in cooperation with Forest staff.
- Assist with Music in the Mountains fundraising event by managing volunteer operations and other duties as assigned.
- Custodial duties as needed to keep up with visitor center operations.
- Perform other related and peripheral duties as required and necessary for the successful performance of this job.

Right now Domino's is looking for qualified drivers to staff stores in your area. We're growing so fast it's hard to keep up, and that means Domino's has lots of ways for you to grow (if that's what you want), perhaps to management, perhaps beyond. DELIVERY EXPERT JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES
You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards as well as access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery. You should possess customer service skills, navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area, and must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings. Drivers also help with inside tasks periodically such as food preparation, cleaning, etc (Please see "General Job Duties for All Team Members")
Must be licensed in the US for at least the last 2 years minimum and be able to prove licensed driving history. You must be an insured driver on the insurance policy for the vehicle. Vehicle must be registered.
PAY
$16.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage
GENERAL JOB DUTIES FOR ALL TEAM MEMBERS
* Operate all equipment.
* Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler. Prepare product.
* Receive and process telephone orders.
* Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
* Clean equipment and facility daily.
TRAINING
Orientation and training provided on the job.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
* Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
* Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/SKILLS/ABILITIES
* Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
* Must be able to make correct monetary change.
* Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
* Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
* Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
* Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area. Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
WORK CONDITIONS
Exposure to
* Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
* In-store temperatures range from 36 degrees in cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas.
* Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
* Fumes from food odors.
* Exposure to cornmeal dust.
* Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler.
* Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500 degrees or higher.
* Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
SENSING
* Talking and hearing on telephone.
* Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
* Depth perception.
* Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
TEMPERAMENTS
The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS including, but not limited to the following:
Standing
* Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
Walking
* For short distances for short durations.
* Surfaces include ceramic tile "bricks" with linoleum in some food process areas. Height of work surfaces is between 36" and 48".
Sitting
* Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
Lifting
* Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by the team member using a hand truck.
* Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions of up to 3' x 1.5'.
* Cases are usually lifted from floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.
Carrying
* Large cans, weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces, are carried from the workstation to storage shelves.
* Occasionally, pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds is carried from the storage room to the front of the store.
* Trays of pizza dough are carried three at a time over short distances, and weigh approximately 12 pounds per tray.
Pushing
* To move trays which are placed on dollies. A stack of trays on a dolly is approximately 24"- 30" and requires a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push.
* Trays may also be pulled.
Climbing
* Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance.
*
Stooping/Bending
* Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station.
* Toe room is present, but workers are unable to flex their knees while standing at this station.
* Duration of this position is approximately 30 - 45 seconds at one time, repeated continuously during the day.
* Forward bending is also present at the front counter and when stocking ingredients.
Crouching/Squatting
* Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas.
Reaching
* Reaching is performed continuously; up, down and forward.
* Workers reach above 72" occasionally to turn on/off oven controls, change prices on sign, and lift and lower objects to and from shelves.
* Workers reaching down to perform such tasks as scooping cornmeal from a plastic barrel, or washing dishes.
* Workers reach forward when obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones.
Hand Tasks
* Eye-hand coordination is essential. Use of hands is continuous during the day.
* Frequently activities require use of one or both hands.
* Shaping pizza dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists.
* Workers must manipulate a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven, and when using the rolling cutter.
* Frequent and/or forceful pinching is required in the assembly of cardboard pizza boxes.
* Team Members must be able to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids
* Team Members may be required to utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel.

Qualifications
All drivers (applicant or employee) must meet these requirements in order to be eligible to drive:
* Must be 18 years or older
* Have a minimum of the last 2 years licensed driving history in the United States
* Must provide documentation of at least 2 years of licensed driving history in the U.S.
* Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history of at least 1.5 years during the last 2 years. The suspension cannot be at the start of the 2 year period
* No more than 1 violation and 1 at-fault accident associated within the last 2 years
* No more than 2 violations and 1 at-fault accident associated within the last 3 years
* No more than 3 violations in the last 3 years
* No more than 1 at-fault accident in the last 3 years
* Moving citations (i.e. speeding, vehicle safety, etc.) count as violations
* Seatbelt citations do not count as violations; and
* Inoperable brake light citations do not count as violations.
* No distracted driving/inattentive driving violations within the last 3 years
* No serious violations allowed in the past 5 years. Some examples include:
* Drugs/Alcohol
* Leaving the scene
* Failing to report an accident
* Reckless/careless driving
* Vehicular homicide
* Hit and run
* Speed contest
* Eluding police
* Making a false police report
* Driving while suspended/not licensed
* Speeding 30 MPH or faster over the posted speed limit
Periodic Delivery Vehicle Inspection
Motor vehicles used for business purposes including, but not limited to, making deliveries, must have the following items inspected under the supervision of franchisees and the managers of stores at the start of employment and thereafter on a periodic basis:
* Headlights
* Turn signals
* Tires
* Rear-view mirror
* Taillights/Break lights
* Brake pressure
* Windshield wipers
* Doors
* Backup lights
* Exhaust system
* Horn
* Safety belt
Any motor vehicle that does not pass the inspection must not be used to operate a motor vehicle for business purposes including, but not limited to, making deliveries. These inspections are not intended to replace extensive mechanical inspections by a professional and the vehicle operator is responsible for the safe operating condition of his/her vehicle.
