  • Solid business analysis skills: facilitation, process mapping, UAT, requirements gathering

  • Excellent time management and communication skills

  • Technical writing experience is a bonus

Job Title: Japanese Speaking Financial Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a bilingual financial analyst fluent in both Japanese and English to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in analyzing investments, assessing financial health, and supporting strategic decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
+ Analyze investment opportunities and assess financial health through key financial statements.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with finance, accounting, and legal teams.
+ Support management decision-making by providing strategic insights.
+ Liaise between our client and departments in the Japanese parent company.
+ Review investment proposals and guide subsidiaries in setting up control processes and policies.
+ Advise business divisions on approval workflows and documentation.
+ Assist with deal execution, including due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in financial analysis, accounting, and finance.
+ Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliation.
+ Experience in variance analysis and Microsoft Excel.
+ Expertise in month-end closing, data analysis, reporting, forecasting, and financial planning and analysis.

**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Bilingual Transaction Analyst, you will provide evaluation and support the execution of real estate transaction activities and financial reporting for a defined portfolio of commercial properties.
This position is part of the Brokerage job family. Brokers are responsible for the buying, selling, and leasing of industrial, office, retail, and other commercial properties on behalf of clients for occupation.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Manage, monitor, and report monthly on the progress of lease terminations, renewals, rent commencements, and increases.
+ Support tracking lease information, property values, capital expenditures, rental rates, and real estate assignments.
+ Assist with managing local transaction implementation.
+ Facilitate closeout process including hand-off to lease administration team.
+ Provide transactional financial breakdown support to the team.
+ Participate in various real estate transactions such as lease negotiation and administration.
+ Administer quality assurance program, customer satisfaction surveys, key performance indicators, and transaction scorecards.
+ Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
+ Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
+ Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
**What You'll Need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
+ Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
+ Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
+ Must be fluent in English and Spanish with the ability to read, write and speak both languages.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Bilingual Transaction Analyst position is $65,000 annually or ($1.25 per hour) and the maximum salary for the Bilingual Transaction Analyst position is 70,000 annually (or 33.66 per hour). The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
