Job Description:
The Blender is responsible for utilizing batch records, similar to cooking recipes, to blend ingredients. This role involves retrieving materials from inventory and accurately combining dry and wet ingredients in stainless steel vats.
Responsibilities

+ Adhere to HACCP and SQF guidelines.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in blending or working within FDA-regulated environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1-5 years experience in a GMP facility.
+ 1-5 years experience with mixing operations.

+ Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.
+ Experience with sanitation processes, including CIP systems.
Work Environment
This role is based in a liquid processing beverage facility. Employees work in a blending room where dry and sugar ingredients are mixed, which may affect individuals sensitive to such conditions. Available shifts are 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday, and 3rd shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday to Friday. The facility has a tenured workforce, expecting new employees to train quickly and demonstrate hard work.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.48 - $27.48/hr.

We are looking for a Blender I to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will mix raw ingredients to create finished products according to recipes. You will be responsible for weighing the correct ingredients and will use pumps, mixers, filters, and scales throughout the blending process to transfer ingredients to the appropriate vessels. This role also involves sampling raw material, sampling finished product, and cleaning vessels, blending equipment, and fillers.Additionally, you will be responsible for handling hazardous & non-hazardous waste. Teamwork and communication are essential for this role.
**During your shift as a Blender, you will**
+ Check on equipment throughout blend process.
+ Set up and operate blending equipment.
+ Assist blenders and production operators as needed.
+ Actively engage in safety, quality, and continuous improvement programs.
+ Report problems or concerns with safety, quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor.
+ Work closely with support staff such as Maintenance Technicians, Engineering, Production Supervisor, and Quality to resolve issues.
+ Accurately produce batch paperwork.
+ Identify and support continuous improvement efforts with Production Supervisor.
+ Participate as an active member of the production team and assist production as required.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ Work overtime as required.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

About the role
The blender is responsible for fully preparing and personally certifying large batches of dry food ingredients in accordance with Company specifications for use in the manufacturing process. This key position ensures that our food products contain only what they are supposed to contain and in the right proportions.
Key responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
  Accurately weigh and measure ingredients for use in blends.
 Maintain accurate paper records of the quantities of ingredients added to batches.

Assist with detailed cleaning activities in blending room as well as other areas of plant on a regular basis.

Basic Computer skills required. Prior SAP or inventory control experience is beneficial.

Job Description
As a Chemical Operator, you will be responsible for transporting required ingredients and pre-weighs from the staging area to the blending area, monitoring and incorporating push outs and Dump to Bulk (DTB) back into the system, and hooking up hoses, pumps, and lines for bulk concentrate or juice transfers from storage tanks.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain, build, and start up filters, open drums, and inspect and maintain filter blankets.
+ Program touch screens for product delivery from the silo room to blend tanks.
+ Follow instructions on blending sheets, add proper ingredients, and accurately record amounts.
+ Obtain blend tank samples and deliver them to the quality laboratory for testing.
+ Complete blending sheets and ensure their accuracy.
+ Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the area throughout the shift.
+ Perform CIP sanitation of all blending lines, tanks, and equipment.
+ Remove empty barrels and bins from the batching area to outside storage and trailers.
+ Receive and unload tankers of bulk concentrates as needed.
+ Complete sanitation and line CIP as scheduled.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in chemical production, blending, batching, and mixing.
+ Proficiency in batch record keeping and compounding.
+ Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
+ Preferred pasteurization experience.
