JOB SUMMARY:
The Associate I, Stand Alone Attended Donation Center (ADC) - Donation Services, is typically the first point of contact for customers that are dropping off donated items at a stand-alone donations’ centers. The ADC Donation Services Associates will provide excellent and friendly customer service by greeting customers’ timely and helping the customer as needed. Customer assistance may include lifting or unloading donations from a customer’s vehicle or other areas. Associates are expected to handle goods with care, showing respect for all items donated.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provides excellent customer service, greeting customers in a timely manner.
- Assists every customer by unloading donations from vehicle or other areas.
- Ensured that all donated items are handled with care and sorted into appropriate bins or production areas.
- Ensures a safe, organized, and clean environment is maintained for both customers and fellow employees within the donations entrance and parking lot areas.
- Maintains donation centers’ shed and trailer where applicable.
- Follows appropriate opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure supplies are kept well stocked as necessary.
- Records and reports accurate donation count daily.
- Assist drivers in loading and unloading donations onto the truck.
- Timely communication when donation warehouse and/or trailer(s) are becoming full and a truck is needed.
- Follows all donation center policies and procedures.
- Adheres to training guidelines pertaining to accepting and handling donations.
- Job duties may extend beyond the tasks listed and may include additional responsibilities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:

The Operations Supervisor manages the day to day operations of the ADC (Attendant Donation Center) program. The Operations Supervisor makes sure the Goodwill donors receive excellent customer service and all incoming donations are sorted correctly.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
TRANSPORTATION:
Organizational and customer service skills preferred. Also, computer skills to include the ability to use software, hardware, and digital tools to perform tasks efficiently.
Reliable transportation required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Supervises and coordinates activities of employees concerned with transporting, receiving, sorting and stacking donations into proper containers or trailers
- Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, shipped and stored
- Interviews and hires ADC employees
- Completes ADC daily schedule
- Coordinates security provisions as needed
- Assist in locating ADC sites
- Handle all personnel needs for employees
- Maintain travel expenses at budget level
- Serve as liaison between store managers and ADC employees
- Maintain layout and special handling of product guidelines for all store and free-standing sites
- Travel to ADC sites to ensure proper coverage and handling of donated material
- Assure proper loading and unloading of donated product to designated areas
- Analyze and resolve work and material flow issues
- Schedule new hire needs with Human Resources
- Update training manuals as needed
- Complete weekly reports
- Maintain and achieve department budget and expense goals

**Job Title:** CENTER MANAGER
**Summary:**
Acts as the general manager for a Plasma Collection Center and has overall responsibility for the center's operation. Works under general occasional guidance and general oversight of regional management. Manages the daily operations of the center, supervising operations and quality control, and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.
**Primary Responsibilities for Role:**
+ Responsible for meeting quarterly goals, staffing/hours per labor efficiency standards/cost per liter (CPL) targets and Quality key performance indicators (KPI) goals.
+ Create appropriate organizational environment and value systems which stimulate the morale and productivity of the work force and its leadership.
+ Operates the center and manages employees and operations to the highest standard of ethics and integrity.
+ Manages staff to ensure that training and quality goals are met and to implement operational changes and maximize center efficiency.
+ Directs and manages employees.
+ Monitor and evaluate operations. Develop action plans to maximize center efficiency and supervise the implementation of process improvements.
+ Manages headcount to provide for efficient staffing through high and low production intervals, providing accurate and timely projections to regional management team in advance of cyclical and seasonal or situational spikes.

+ Accountable for freezer management, including overseeing plasma shipments and equipment failures. Required to answer all freezer alarms and deal with them appropriately.
+ Submit timely and accurate reports on a daily/weekly basis or as requested.
+ Develop community representation with regards to all public relations and marketing campaigns to attract and retain donors.
+ Maintains thorough familiarity and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved Standard Operating Procedures, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), and Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
+ Accountable for donor selection, plasma collection and all manufacturing records to maintain the highest production standards in accordance with state and federal regulations, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved Standard Operating Procedures, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), and Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
+ Directs through the management team and with Training and Quality staff to ensure that training and quality goals are met.

+ Assumes Regional management oversight and mentoring duties for select facilities/projects or in ROMs absence.

Job Summary :
The Donation Center Attendant (DCA) works in the Goodwill Donation Centers. The DCA is responsible for delivering excellent customer service to every donor who visits the Goodwill Donation Center. The DC Attendant will greet each donor, remove the donations from the donors’ vehicle and offer each donor a receipt and thank the donor for donating.
Minimum Qualifications :
Education
High School or GED preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years prior retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration
Valid Driver's License

-The position does require bending and twisting of neck up from 1 to 2 hours per day.
