About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Marketing Manager to lead the digital growth and brand presence for our steel and metals supply business. This role blends eCommerce strategy, product marketing, and SEO/SEM execution with a deep understanding of digital marketing best practices to drive awareness, traffic, and conversions. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing omnichannel campaigns that position our products competitively in the industrial supply space while scaling our online sales ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
eCommerce & Digital Growth
+ Oversee the eCommerce strategy, ensuring high-performing product pages, user experience optimization, and accurate digital merchandising.
+ Drive digital engagement across web and online storefronts through conversion-rate optimization and strategic content enhancements.
+ Monitor UX metrics, session behavior, and traffic sources to identify improvement opportunities.
Product Marketing
+ Create and manage product positioning, messaging, and digital content across the steel and metals product catalog.
+ Lead go-to-market plans for new products and service rollouts, including content, digital support, and campaign planning.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to produce technical documentation, spec sheets, and sales enablement materials.
SEO, SEM & Paid Media
+ Own SEO/SEM strategy for the website and product pages-conduct keyword research, optimize content, and monitor technical SEO health.
+ Manage Google Ads, remarketing campaigns, and paid LinkedIn programs to drive qualified leads and conversions.
+ Run A/B testing and performance audits; use data to inform decisions and adjust strategy.
Digital Marketing & Campaign Execution
+ Lead end-to-end digital marketing campaigns across email, social media, and paid channels.
+ Build nurture flows, retargeting segments, and tailored messaging to increase engagement and lifetime value.
+ Align campaigns with the sales cycle to support pipeline velocity and customer acquisition goals.
Analytics, Reporting & Optimization
+ Track KPIs across all digital channels, report on campaign performance, and continuously test and optimize efforts.
+ Use tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush or HubSpot to assess trends and report ROI to stakeholders.
+ Manage digital budgets effectively and allocate resources toward highest-performing channels.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ 5-8 years of experience in digital marketing, product marketing, and/or eCommerce, ideally in a B2B, industrial, or manufacturing setting.
+ Strong command of digital marketing strategy-SEO, paid search, email automation, content creation, and analytics.
+ Hands-on experience with tools like Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Mailchimp or Pardot, Google Analytics, and CMS platforms such as WordPress, Magento, or Shopify.
+ Deep understanding of the industrial buyer journey and how to position technical products effectively across channels.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical specs into compelling messaging.

**The Role**

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will drive Go-to-Market strategy for the Proofpoint Threat Protection solution. **What You Bring To The Team**
+ 8+ years of experience in product marketing. Email security, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT experience strongly preferred.
+ BS/BA required, preferably in business or technical concentration, MBA a plus
+ Proven experience marketing to enterprise businesses and technical buyers; demonstrated ability to converse across technical and sales audiences with a concise message
+ Demonstrated expertise in crafting engaging, clear, and compelling content tailored to target audiences. Proven ability to research, write, and edit high-quality materials, showcasing a strong command of tone, voice, and style aligned with messaging guidelines.
+ Passion for knowing your market and translating that expertise to actionable Go-to-Market plans

As a senior product marketing manager for the Energy and Utilities industry, you will help define and drive messaging and thought leadership content for the vertical. You will deliver customer-centric storytelling across marketing channels to highlight how our vertical offerings drive meaningful, measurable customer impact in the Energy space. You will own our marketing activities and presence for large-scale events, product launches, and customer and partner announcements, and develop programs that enable and educate AWS sales and GTM teams about our industry-specific offerings. Key job responsibilities
- Craft & develop compelling stories, content and tools (e.g. presentations, whitepapers, infographics, webinars, customer success stories, product videos.) that land our energy and utilities value proposition

Basic Qualifications

Ultimately, you will be the glue that brings our Learning product and its target users together, binding our GTM strategy to the tactics and stakeholders needed to drive success.
**What You'll Do**
+ Lead persona-centric Go-to-Market (GTM) campaigns and strategies for new Learning product launches.
+ Create and align custom GTM launch plans, including target personas, positioning & messaging, launch calendars, checklists, deliverables, communication channel strategy, activation plans, and campaign-specific OKRs, with the GTM teams.
+ Leverage the new network activation project framework to develop cross-channel campaign strategies, managing deployment timelines and reporting on/analyzing results across brands.
