The Groundskeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervision of grounds operations and improvement initiatives including, but not limited to, landscape operations, tree and shrub maintenance and duties related to inclement weather, such as snow removal. May also oversee other services such as transportation, pest control and turf maintenance. Manages a team of grounds professionals and ensures achievement of departmental goals and client expectations.
**Compensation Data**

**Job Responsibilities**
+ Supervise and coordinate the work of groundskeeping staff, including scheduling, training, and providing performance feedback.
+ Inspect and assess the condition of the grounds, including lawns, gardens, irrigation systems, and other outdoor features, and develop plans for improvement.
+ Ensure the proper care and maintenance of all groundskeeping equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, trucks and hand tools.
+ Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the grounds, including trash removal, leaf blowing, and snow and ice removal during inclement weather.
+ Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and facilities, to ensure the proper functioning of outdoor amenities and address any issues or repairs in a timely manner.
+ Order and manage the groundskeeping supply inventory.
+ Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in grounds management to continually improve the appearance and functionality of our outdoor spaces

**Qualifications**
+ Proven experience as a grounds supervisor or similar role, with a strong knowledge of horticulture, landscape design, and groundskeeping techniques.
+ Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team.
+ Proficient in operating and maintaining groundskeeping equipment.
+ Strong knowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulations related to grounds management.
+ Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
