**Core Responsibilities**
+ Develop and maintain a working understanding of broadcast workflows, signal flow paths, and systems architecture.
+ Identify malfunctioning equipment within the signal chain and implement appropriate corrective actions.
+ Perform basic configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of satellite and fiber decoders.
+ Demonstrate working knowledge of analog and digital signal formats, including SD/HD video, audio types (analog, AES, Dolby), and metadata handling.
+ Use broadcast test equipment such as waveform monitors, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and audio analyzers to validate signals and troubleshoot issues.
+ Exhibit foundational knowledge of IT systems, computer hardware/software, and IP networking as they relate to modern broadcast infrastructure.
+ Understand and apply networking concepts including TCP/IP, multicast, VLANs, and Quality of Service (QoS).

**Skills & Qualifications**
+ General knowledge of legacy and state-of-the industry multimedia systems and equipment used in best-in-class event centers
+ Solid technical problem-solving skills and an interest in developing new strategies
+ An overall understanding of the live program production process is necessary and a strong sense of urgency in solving customer requests to ensure timely resolution is critical
+ Strong results orientation with a flexible attitude to deliver seamless and timely services to customers
+ Knowledge of audio and video production tools such as cameras, mixers, monitors, editing systems, etc. and able to correctly setup and diagnose problems with such equipment
+ Familiarity with AV equipment and control systems, including Ross Ultrix/Carbonite/Expression, Crestron, Dante, Q-Sys, Panasonic, L-Acoustics, Yamaha and others
+ Understanding of basic networking equipment and software
+ Troubleshooting skills related to broadcast AV and enterprise AV
+ Ability to create, read and notate on high-level schematics, signal flow diagrams and construction drawings, Proficient with CAD programs

**Responsibilities**

+ Maintain, inspect and repair all broadcast radio station equipment, including transmitters, satellite downlinks, network infrastructure, automation systems, studio equipment, AOIP networks, UPS's, remote control equipment, generators, VOIP and telephone systems.
+ Maintain and Review weekly transmitter and studio logs for correct and complete entries includingEAS tests and tower lighting requirements per F.C.C. Rules and Regulations

+ Provide support 24/7 in case of equipment failure; available to work various hours/days, including weekends and holidays
**What You'll Do:**
+ Maintain the integrity of all on-air and on-line products, including high power FM + HD, AM, Audio Automation, digital audio & audio streaming
+ Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all broadcast radio station equipment, including transmitters, antennas, STL, satellite downlinks, studio equipment, remote equipment, generators and backup power systems, telephone system and related equipmentin keeping with good engineering practices
+ Install and maintain broadcast IT systems at studios and transmitter sites, such as WideOrbit, Axia and associated software and hardware including workstations and servers.
+ Create instructional materials and teach operators to use technical equipment and systems
+ Handle telco problems and service calls. Work with technicians to troubleshoot circuits; cross connect in-house circuits.
+ Generator testing, fueling and supervision of maintenance.
+ UPS testing and supervision of maintenance
+ Effectively communicate and partner with local Management, programming staff, Corporate Technical Operations, Content Operations as well as outside partners
+ Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary
