This is a DFW-based role with occasional travel to jobsites within an hour of the office for site visits, progress meetings, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead construction projects from preconstruction through closeout

The Network Engineering Operations group is responsible for managing colocation environments, ensuring they are scalable, reliable and optimized for both business needs and efficient use of space and power.
The team is looking for a Data Center Infrastructure Specialist to support our Colocation environments. The role includes managing colocation agreements, capacity management and reporting on data sets through industry- standard tools. There is also the opportunity to have exposure to our Network/ IT infrastructure to support our rapidly expanding Data Centers and Hosting Services in North America.
Job Description:
+ Day to day responsibilities will include the following:
+ Management of terms & conditions of current & new colocation contracts with internal and external stakeholders
+ Negotiating new contracts to our standardized agreements and procedures, i.e. NDA and Vendor Risk Management
+ Ability to integrate industry standard analytical tools with internal Bloomberg proprietary tools
+ Responsible for Procurement Compliance, Cost/Price Analysis, and achieving Negotiation cost-targets
+ Ensure suppliers are executing to subcontract contractual flow down requirements for technical, cost, schedule, and SLA
+ Documentation management including account creation/termination process, invoice processing, site access and escalation lists, contract agreements/amendments, maintenance of site information on Bloomberg internal systems etc.
+ Coordinating vendor operational procedures with Bloomberg Networks operational procedures
+ Coordinating and control of Mechanical and Electrical Power (MEP) site surveys with internal stakeholders to ensure data center facility resiliency is represented correctly within Bloomberg internal systems
+ Interaction with maintenance teams, external vendors and Bloomberg staff at all levels. Manage Data Center incident reporting and track issues to closure.
+ Overall project planning, coordination, cost estimation and implementation of new data center sites across AMER in 3rd party co-location facilities, utilizing DCIM software and internal project management tools. Projects to be completed on time and within the allocated budgets.
+ Support the site selection process for new co-location facilities. Create request for proposals, at times will need to perform physical site reviews and collaborate with internal teams to provide final site selection.
+ Support Global Data Center Infrastructure team responsible for all process/procedural and initiative roll out.
You'll Need to Have:
+ A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field of study or equivalent work experience
+ 4+ years' experience working in an operational Data Center environment, preferably in the colocation industry. Experience should be concentrated in new vendor acquisition, contract development/negotiation & subcontractor performance management.
+ Knowledge of Site Services activities (rack and stack, structured cabling, trouble shooting)
+ Knowledge of power and space management within Data Centers and an understanding of Sustainability
+ Knowledge of facilities infrastructure (UPS, Generators, Data Center cooling and AC/DC power systems.)
+ Management and performance reporting on ticket handling, SLA's, and other Ops management metrics. Experience with some form of ticketing system.
Would love to see:

+ High level experience in collecting/aggregating data sets in excel, MySQL etc.

The Construction Site Coordinator (CSC) has responsibility to coordinate and supervise pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities for Transmission and Distribution substation and line projects. - Clearly articulating quality requirements for all vendors and others working on construction activities. Understanding resource needs on assigned projects.
- Inspecting work performed by contractors against design and construction standards.
- Understanding the typical risks on a transmission construction project. Implementing a construction risk management plan for anticipated construction risks.
Documenting project site meetings with contractors that address issues such as safety, performance, quality control, or adherence to construction schedules. - Ensuring all the stakeholders have necessary permit copies.
- Maintaining digital / printed copy of the red line drawings of the project site.
- Participating in contractor evaluation, project review meetings, and meetings concerning "Lessons Learned".
- Aware of procedures and policies designed to comply with ethics standards. Consistently applies ethic guidelines in working with stakeholders (external and internal).

You will play a key role in driving growth by building partnerships with pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical companies, helping to expand the SMO's clinical trial management services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute business development strategies to attract new clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in clinical research organizations.
- Identify new business opportunities and work with the internal team to design proposals tailored to client needs.
- Present the SMO’s clinical trial management services to prospective clients and negotiate contracts.
