We are seeking a proactive and curious Business Intelligence Analyst to support the development and maintenance of Power BI solutions within the Shockwave Medical business unit, now part of Johnson & Johnson MedTech. This role will contribute to our reporting capabilities and collaborate closely with US Sales Operations and other stakeholders to deliver impactful insights.

Key Responsibilities:

·    Power BI Development: Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring accuracy and usability for business stakeholders.

·    Semantic Model Development: Assist in creating and optimizing Power BI semantic models to support scalable analytics solutions.

·    Collaboration: Work closely with US Sales Operations and cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.

·    Data Quality & Integration: Support data integration processes and uphold data quality standards.

·    Continuous Learning: Stay curious and engaged with new BI tools, features, and best practices to enhance reporting capabilities.

·    Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for reports and models to ensure ease of use and sustainability.

Requirements:

·    Minimum 3 years of proven experience with Power BI (semantic modeling, DAX, M language)

·    SQL skills; experience with Snowflake, Python and advanced visuals like Zebra BI is a plus.

·    Proactive and self-directed, with the capacity to work under minimal supervision and excel in fast-paced, high-pressure settings.

·    Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to deliver actionable insights.

·    Highly organized with superior time management skills; able to manage multiple, shifting priorities effectively.

·    Excellent communication (English fluency) and collaboration skills in a global, cross-functional environment.

·    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

·    Background in life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical devices, or biotech is beneficial.

Failure Analysis Coordinator: 1.Act as a liaison between BU Engineering, Suppliers and FA team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Follow up closely with each stakeholder to ensure FA timelines are met.2. Manage and update FA case status efficiently in QMS (from FI to ship out) for timely analysis and resolution.3. Facilitation and Reporting, Ensure smooth and timely execution of Failure Analysis process and report findings in a clear and concise manner for customer reporting.4. QMS status update of component FARC cases, identifying overdue FARC reports from vendors, driving vendors (thru CE or otherwise) for obtaining FA reports, and work with component engineers, BU FA team, CM FA sites to identify component failure trends and recommended corrective actions.5. Utilize prior experience in hardware engineering to optimize processes and improve efficiency.6. Apply project management skills to oversee and drive FA to successful completion.7. Proficiency expected in data analysis/SQL/Tableau/Excel/Powerpoint skills , Knowledge of CDET tool good to have.8. • Perform detailed technical analysis & scoping of activities required to develop a new application capability 
• Define technical requirements and form up a solution that it is delivered to the development team in an appropriate form of user stories, process flows and wireframes
• Perform kick-offs with the developers and answer questions and resolve ambiguities for the developers during development 
• Ownership of requirements to be built by the team, presentation of the stories and journeys and facilitation of requirements workshops
• Create application documentation for end-users and technical staff as needed
