Advanced Analytics & Business Intelligence Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Advanced Analytics & Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytics solutions to drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop tools that showcase insights and business intelligence using technologies such as SQL & Python, within the Dataiku, Snowflake, and Tableau environments
• Build predictive models on guest behavior; examples include: likelihood to purchase, likelihood to engage with a marketing message, or estimating spend
• Design and conduct statistical experiments (ex. A/B testing) to measure the efficiency of our audiences
• Mine for insights and conduct analysis of key performance indicators and trends in our first- and third-party data. Present insights and opportunities to the organization
• Build data pipelines that transform data into actionable operational dashboards, reports, and tools using data visualization techniques
• Promote products to production and maintain products in production to ensure availability in activation
• Develop plans and timelines for individual projects by working in agile framework to deliver work products in sprints. Leverage tools such as Jira to track and catalog work and communicate progress to direct leadership
• Mentor cast that perform supporting tasks
• Maintain strong partnerships with key business partners within the organization to identify opportunities to gain and implement intelligence

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence technologies, visualizations, best practices, and methodologies
• 5+ years of experience using programming languages (Python or R preferred) to build predictive models and to conduct statistical testing with sound experimental design
• 5+ years of experience with Machine Learning algorithms and statistical methods including classification models such as logistic regression and decision trees, and segmentation models such as clustering and scoring
• Strong understanding of relational database methodology, data structures, data pipelines, and exploratory querying using SQL, and Python
• Proven experience with data wrangling using SQL, Python and/or other processing methodologies
• Proven experience with translating business questions into appropriate analytical products that yield actionable results
• Demonstrate strong proficiency with data visualization tools, preferably Tableau
• Demonstrate strong relationship-building and partnering skills
• Display strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate technical work to non-technical partners
• Demonstrate problem-solving, organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrate critical thinking and a strong attention to detail
• Demonstrate an exploration mentality and be willing to be a leader in learning new spaces

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in agriculture economics, business, finance, or Strategic Business Intelligence (or related field of study)

• Minimum 8 years of experience in agriculture business experiences with strong analytical skills. Crop protection experiences an asset

• Proven ability to synthesize complex data into actional insights that drive business growth with analytical software

This role is responsible for the leadership and oversight of Finance Operations and Business Intelligence for Equifax Workforce Solutions. It involves managing day-to-day operations, identifying high-impact initiatives, and strategically building and optimizing global billing and collections activities, including cash applications and the implementation of billing systems. What you will do

• Responsible for the leadership and oversight of Finance Operations and Business Intelligence for Equifax Workforce Solutions.
• Serves as an active member of the BU Senior Financial Officer's leadership team and an integral thought leader.
• Manage day-to-day operations and identify projects / initiatives as well as solutions with significant impact on the business while enabling increased growth for Equifax at the BU and/or enterprise-wide level.
• Lead a team of professional level managers and or individual contributors focused on Finance Operations, Business Intelligence and Atlas Program.
• Strategically build and optimize global billing and collections activities
• Lead customer cash applications, including the implementation and maintenance of automation to improve efficiency of overall cash applications operations
• Drive the implementation and ongoing functionality of the billing systems globally, including the development and oversight of all related policies and procedures, taking into account any unique regional needs and expectations
• Design, implement and oversee future state GFS billing operations model for EWS and future state Oracle Order Management billing operations for EWS
• Drive adoption of appropriate control processes and structure globally ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition and Sox audit compliance
• Devise strategy for improving efficiency and effectiveness of global collections and integrate all current and future acquisition billing and collection operations
• Develop and implement business unit revenue assurance model in partnership with business units to implement product, pricing and customer initiatives and ensure all revenues billed accurately and revenue recognized appropriately
• Implement billing and collections business intelligence process and enhance insights used by the team to improve overall efficiency of the operation using EDH
• Identify, recruit, develop and retain a large high-performance team of senior managers and professionals

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 15 years of experience with 10+ years of experience managing a Business Intelligence and/or FinOps team

• Must have a strong understanding of how to generate effective reports, consolidate and analyze data, and design end-user reporting tools
• Ability to translate relevant data to multiple audiences with wide range of skill sets and levels of comprehension utilizing demonstrated mastery in the areas of communications, presentation skills, and consulting

• Experience in data analysis, presentation, or self- service BI approaches will also be important to develop proof of concept and prototype reports and maps that can help end users visualize and interrogate data that is contained within the data warehouse, thus demonstrating the value of the environment.
