KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Plans, administers and monitors the financial and operational policies and procedures of a school or major organizational unit.
+ Coordinates and participates in the strategic planning process.
+ Develops short and long term financial goals and implements fiscal policies to support the financial viability of the organization.

The Goizueta Business School is seeking an experienced Network Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience providing advanced technical support for server environments, with a strong background in virtualization technologies and application development in a multi-user environment. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in Windows/Linux Operating Systems management, possess expertise in Active Directory support, and have experience in cloud, virtualization, and storage area network maintenance. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Manages and supervises staff and operations in an Information Technology (IT) area.
+ Advises management on issues within a specific IT area to ensure compliance and uniform systems across the division and enterprise.
+ Works closely with other area managers and directors to ensure smooth and transparent processes and systems.
+ Designs information systems and procedures to support division operations.
+ Hires, trains and supervises staff.
+ Performs related responsibilities as required.

+ Ensure server and network security is maintained through regular monitoring and patching.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ A bachelor's degree and five years of related IT experience including project management and lead or supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
+ Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux Operating Systems management in accordance with best practices.
+ Experience with Active Directory (Cloud and On-Prem) support, including group policy management.

Since 1998 is an educational initiative of the international management consulting firm Boston Consulting Group (BCG). The goal is to give students practical business knowledge and key qualifications for their future professional life, as well as awaken their entrepreneurial spirit. Each year, around 1,000 senior high school students at around 70 schools in Germany, Austria, Italy, Great Britain, Albania, and Switzerland participate in They are supported by their teachers and some 400 volunteers from around 20 partner companies and BCG.

As a Working Student, you’ll support the team of BCG’s educational initiative You’ll work collaboratively with them on developing the website and building up the accompanying database including interfaces. Your main tasks will cover the entire process from designing to releasing new elements and functionalities both on the website and in the database management system. You’ll also share responsibility for data analysis, processing results, and maintaining the database. In addition, you’ll assist the team with its day-to-day work.
