**Introduction to the team**
The Managing Director of Valuation Services will be responsible for business development and oversight of the valuation practice. The firms' Valuation group is recognized as a leader in the valuation of businesses, securities, and intangible assets for a wide range of tax, transaction and compliance purposes.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Grows and manages the group's Valuation Consulting practice, through developing an area of expertise
+ Manages/performs consulting engagements as required
+ Assists with proposals and business development, including the development of marketing materials and web-based marketing initiatives
+ Collaborates with other offices and industry groups to manage and develop consulting practices
+ Attends valuations industry trade shows and conferences and participates in firm-wide marketing and sales programs
+ Assists in the development of training programs for existing clients and prospects
+ Participates as a presenter of topics Valuation seminars and webinars
+ Writes and/or co-authors articles for publications Valuation periodicals
+ Develops and participates in public speaking opportunities at industry trade shows and conferences
+ Leverages technical knowledge and experience to provide effective project management and practice development
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or economics required; MBA or Master's in Business Valuations preferred
+ CPA, CFA or ASA designation required
+ Private Equity industry experience preferred
+ Minimum of 10 years of related experience in a complex organization required; including demonstrated involvement with building and leading high-performing teams and fostering an inclusive culture; experience in public accounting or professional services environment preferred
+ Prior success in leading key business development, project delivery and practice development activities required
+ Must demonstrate immediate success to the firm around practice development, providing thought leadership and meeting target sales goals by having an established network and participating in various market facing activities, such as industry presentations, webcasts, professional networking events, etc.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint)
+ Exceptional client service skills, experience serving mid-market clients preferred
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills; self-directed professional with strong interpersonal skills

Nevium Intellectual Property Consultants is a San Diego-based consulting firm specializing in valuing and calculating damages for intellectual property and intangible assets. We provide IP valuations, expert witness testimony, and strategic advice to law firms, business owners, and strategic investors.

In the litigation aspect of Nevium's work, the team performs damages analyses and prepares expert reports for legal disputes, including trademark and copyright infringement, NIL / ROP false endorsements, defamation, economic damages, reputational repair, licensing customs and practices, including royalty rate determinations.

We are hiring a Director to join our team in San Diego and contribute to various consulting assignments. The candidate must have strong financial analysis, writing, and critical thinking skills. The candidate should have completed coursework in economics, financial analysis, statistics, or accounting. This person should have at least five years of experience managing projects from inception to submission of the final report while managing analysts working under them.

Responsibilities include investigating social media metrics, data collection, and investigations, building complex Excel models, and writing well-referenced reports and presentations. The individual chosen will have the opportunity to immediately contribute to client projects and work closely with our firms owner and management team.

This position is in-person based in San Diego, California.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing client projects from start to finish

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
