The Mississippi Department of Finance & Administration (DFA) / Mississippi Management and Reporting System (MMRS) is recruiting one (1) SAP Business Warehouse / Business Intelligence (BI/BW) Senior Developer to provide SAP system support. The resource will serve as a member of the BI/BW team and will work alongside State resources in developing, enhancing, and supporting the BI/BW modules of the Mississippi Accountability System of Government Information and Collaboration (MAGIC) system.

All work must be completed onsite in the State's Jackson, Mississippi office. Offsite work allowed only when pre-approved by the State.

Requirements
• Fifteen years' experience in developing BW solutions to extract data from SAP systems for use in Business Intelligence. Experience in ABAP, Data Extractors, Data Model Design, Query Building, and Process chains.
• Fifteen years' experience in developing BI reports. Experience with Business Objects, Web Intelligence (WebI) BEX Queries.
• Ten years' experience working with an SAP operational system for a Public Sector client.
• Experience with Security including but not limited to: roles, privileges, and CMC.
• Experience with BOE 4.3 SP2 and BW 7.5 SP21
• Experience with Transparency reporting, including use of dashboards.
• Experience with BASIS activities and Database (DB2) resources.
• Experience with regular BI system health checks & subsequent action plans to improve system performance & stability.
• Experience with SAP and BOE system landscape upgrades, testing and deployment.
• Knowledge with State of Mississippi (SOMS) MAGIC system included but not limited to SOMS cash logic, contracts, grants, assets, and other customized processes.
• Serve as liaison between BOE technical team and SAP functional teams.
• Ten years' experience in training / knowledge transfer to public sector employees from entry level and above.
• Experience with analysis and development activities to resolve root causes of incidents.

Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
* Conducts all aspects of ordering, receiving, distribution, and warehousing of essential supplies across D-H system locations.

* Adjusts item re-ordering points based on EOQ/TOC methodology.

* Regulatory, Compliance, Pandemic:
* Supply Chain Liaison for FDA, Joint Commission and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health (DHH) system to ensure compliance with all applicable policies.
* Collaborates with quality and clinical team members to ensure regulatory compliance for products with limitations and restrictions. Provides control over pandemic supplies.
* Responsible for recalls, alerts, substitutions and hazards to (RASH) committee when needed.
* Communicates with emergency management, safety department, state and local agencies and system members in regards to inventory and supply chain readiness.
* Develops standard working procedures related to product expiration date, lot number tracking, and rotation to ensure quality.
* Helps to develop and educate departments and system members on new regulatory policies and procedures. Ensures the consistency of training for supply chain staff across the continuum of care.

Qualifications

Amazon Web Services' Infrastructure Supply Chain and Procurement team is looking for experienced professionals to help build the world's premier cloud computing platform. We are looking for a candidate with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain experience capable of operating independently in a fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous environment. Our Networking New Product Introduction (NPI) team in Supply Chain partners with our engineering and capacity deployment teams, suppliers and data center operations to launch new products to support AWS Networking's product launch plans. They are also responsible for integrating across supply chain commodity managers to maintain continuity of supply while minimizing risk for excess and obsolete materials.
- Executes strategic plans that improve service, productivity and quality, and that align to the overall organization vision.
- Understand the technical requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal development teams to guide the direction of the supply chain activities.
- Prepare and provide detailed data-driven business reviews to senior management, focused on new product launches.
- Drive strategic BOM reviews to ensure multi-sourcing of critical components and timely qualifications.
- Drive strategic inventory of long-lead, unique materials in a timely manner to ensure successful launch and post-launch scaling.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's or an advanced degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field, or additional 4+ Years work experience in supply chain or sourcing or procurement of hardware in lieu of a degree
- 4+ years of work experience in program, project, or product management, or leading an implementation of a product, or 2+ years with advanced degree
