    T he Programmer position shares responsibility for the designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation for all in-house developed Windows-based client/server, standalone, and packaged jobs and routines. This position will share support of in-house developed code used to support our vendor-supplied packaged software applications and batch processes that require a strong knowledge of SQL, DTS, and SSIS.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

    1. Works both independently and as part of a project team to provide support for all in-house developed Windows-based client/server, stand alone and web applications, and add-on code that is created to support our vendor-supplied packaged software applications.
    2. Provide support by leading and assisting in the analysis, design, construction, implementation, and maintenance of DTS and SSIS transformations that are used extensively to load and prepare our data warehouses.
    3. Develops and provides analysis to support research and development of IS initiatives.
    4. Develops testing groups and scenarios for projects
    5. Develops supporting documentation including training material with the support of other IS staff.
    6. Establishes and maintains effective, consistent reporting to IS and Executive management as needed.
    7. Provides recommendations for IS initiatives that support the user community. Ensure all process are completed in a timely manner and performs random audit on IS practices, reports on support delivery.
    8. Acts as subject matter expert for development projects.
    9. Thorough knowledge and experience with system development methodology; with the ability to tie these into the use of department standards and policies and procedures.
    10. Will be required to communicate technical issues throughout all levels within the organization and within the department
    11. Will be required to be knowledgeable on HIPAA privacy and security regulations and able to assist in implementation and enforcement of these regulations and be able to incorporate them into the development of new and existing projects.

    The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $80,000 - $100,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience.

    The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
