3. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Activities
• Executes equipment calibration, preventative maintenance, performance verification, troubleshooting and repair activities in laboratory and manufacturing areas, as required per current scheduling (CMMS) System.
• Escorts and supervises vendors for calibration, preventative maintenance, performance verification and repair functions as required per current scheduling (CMMS) System.
• Reviews and approves vendor executed calibration, maintenance, repair, and performance verification records for accuracy, and completeness.
• Documents and populates calibration/maintenance information in WPT (Work Plan Template) or MDT (Measurement Data Template) using CMMS system.
• Modifies or update CMMS documentation as required.
• Prepares reports and keeps records on calibration inspection, testing, and repairs.
• Executes requalification on Controlled Temperature Units (ex. Refrigerators, Freezers (which includes -20°C / -80°C Freezers), Incubators, Cryotanks, Cryopods, and Storage Rooms/Areas).
• Supports multiple sites within Warren and Summit.
• Supports clinical manufacturing on-call equipment troubleshooting activities during weekends as required.
• Ensures all calibration, PM, and performance verification records are filed appropriately after approval.
• Contacts supplier for quotation on external calibration/PM of the equipment and calibration standards
• Initiates, participates, and assists in resolution of quality investigations.
• Authors and supports the development, revision, and review of written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for calibration, preventive maintenance, and performance verification of instruments/equipment.
• Supports the development, review and approval of calibration and maintenance plans in site CMMS system.
• Supports the execution of process improvement studies, as required.
• Adheres to written policies and procedures governing the LSM department activities and the equipment they manage to ensure compliance with approved standards.
• Performs inventory of the equipment and/or standards in the labs as required.
• Maintains a positive relationship with the site customers and outside vendors while promoting a positive team environment.
• Participates actively in special projects as required.
• Ensure low cost of the Laboratory Systems Management (LSM) department (Reducing overtime, implementing innovative ideas)
• Plans, justify and implement cost reduction small projects.
• Usage of several test equipment and tools (e.g., pressure gauges, temperature, humidity meters, flow meters, particle counters and temperature mapping equipment etc.)
• Follows cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and ALCOA principles ('ALCOA' defines that data should be Attributable, Legible, Contemporaneous, Original, and Accurate) In addition, 'ALCOA+' guidance recommends that data is also Complete, Consistent, Enduring, and Available.
Inventory Management
• Work with planning group to ensure system is updated as calibration, maintenance and performance verification activities are performed.
• Perform Client's investigations.
Regulatory Responsibilities
• Maintains all required Corporate, Facilities and EHS training as required.
• Adheres to all safety procedures and hazard communication.
4. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High school Diploma or Associates or Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of lab experience preferred in pharma or medical device industry or manufacturing.
5. WORKING CONDITIONS:

Our organization is seeking a motivated Technician/Technologist to serve as a bridge between engineering vehicle coordination and technologist functions. This hands-on role includes instrumentation data collection and vehicle/fleet support for internal combustion and electrified powertrain test programs. The successful candidate will support in-vehicle test procedure execution, fleet and vehicle logistics, and post-processing of drive data with engineering guidance and CAN-bus/benchmarking data extraction. Responsibilities

Support in-vehicle test procedure execution and fleet and vehicle logistics.

Post-process drive data with engineering guidance and CAN-bus/benchmarking data extraction.

Identify and resolve unexpected issues that arise such as data collection software or post-processing errors by systematically investigating the problem until a solution is found.

Learn about and skillfully install and uninstall a pre-defined set of sensors and measurement devices ensuring their correct placement and verifying their reliability/precision for accurate data capture.

Configure and operate data collection software to efficiently collect, process, and store large volumes of real-time vehicle data for subsequent analysis and calibration development.
Essential Skills

2 years of hands-on experience supporting vehicle testing, test instrumentation, data acquisition, and/or fleet coordination for automotive vehicles.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Proficiency in instrumentation and data acquisition.

Vehicle Engine work.
Work Environment
The work environment involves hands-on technical activities related to vehicle testing and data collection. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.90 - $32.00/hr.

Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Calibration Technician who will be trained in calibration skills and techniques. This role involves supporting Metrologists in performing routine and non-routine calibrations, preventative maintenance, and maintaining compliance with ISO17025 accreditation procedures. The position offers opportunities for growth within the calibration or quality team and networking across various labs.
Responsibilities

Perform routine and non-routine calibrations and preventative maintenance on analytical, microbiological, and material sciences laboratory equipment.

Follow calibration procedures and utilize all available sources for technical information.

Create and maintain certificates of calibration.

Ensure compliance with ISO17025 accreditation procedures.

Conduct regular preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.

Complete scheduled calibrations and generate calibration certificates promptly.

Collaborate with third-party vendors to schedule and complete calibrations by monthly deadlines.

Handle general office duties such as scanning, filing, submitting purchase orders, and uploading documentation to the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

Collect samples from internal labs and organize them in freezers and fridges.

Order and organize office supplies as needed for the lab.

Assist in the creation and review of Quality Control documents, including Deviations, Out of Tolerance Investigations, and Change Control documentation.
Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Biology preferred.

6 months to 1 year of GLP/GMP experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills.

Lab skills, calibration, troubleshooting, test equipment, repair, and instrumentation knowledge.
