**Required Skills:**
Business Operations Manager, Capacity Planning Responsibilities:
1. Own end-to-end computation of canonical "dollar per server hour" unit costs. Key activities include traversal of enterprise-scale financial/operational datasets, maintenance of cost allocation SQL procedure, and execution of data publish / validation processes
2. Serve as subject matter expert on unit pricing framework and opine on/manage its application in capacity planning exercises. Produce clear, executive-facing documentation capturing recommendations / proposed approach(es)
3. Partner with hardware engineering teams to improve fidelity of server unit cost allocation methodology
4. Develop self-service reporting that summarizes server unit prices and their breakdown for non-technical audiences
5. Form and influence cross functional working groups spanning finance, software engineering, capacity planning, and other organizations to deliver on the items listed above

This position leads and supports capacity planning efforts to ensure the reliability, resilience, and efficiency of ComEd's electric distribution system. This role develops and applies advanced planning methodologies, load forecasting, and system modeling to anticipate future grid needs driven by electrification, distributed energy resources (DER), climate impacts, and policy mandates such as the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA). Also, this role collaborates across engineering, operations, and regulatory teams to identify and justify infrastructure investments, optimize system performance, and support decarbonization. This role provides technical expertise and strategic guidance to inform capital planning, grid modernization initiatives, and customer programs. This position may require the candidate to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
**Primary Duties**
**PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
+ Performs capacity planning studies of the ComEd distribution system using CYME power flow analysis software. Prepares load forecasts and analyzes modification and modernization impacts to the distribution grid.
+ Designs electrical drawings in AutoCAD and prepares scope and cost estimates for general load growth, Reliability, DER interconnection, Voltage Optimization, Distribution Automation, Electrification, Data Center, and substation projects.
+ Evaluates, develops, and leads projects that have significant financial and operational impact. Plans, writes, and performs tasks for project deliverables.
+ Provides support to the distribution operations department for planned or emergency switching requests.
+ Participates in or leads cross-departmental meetings/conference calls to ensure alignment within the company (may include providing direct oversight of contractors).
+ Serves as an expert for a designated planning area.
+ Supports regulatory filings and may serve as an expert witness or provide expert opinions on planning-related information.

The Associate Director of WFM Capacity Planning is responsible for leading the end-to-end capacity planning process, including long-term and short-term FTE modeling, volume forecasting, and workload analysis across multiple lines of business. This role translates strategic goals, demand forecasts, and budget constraints into actionable staffing plans that align with service level objectives and financial targets. The Associate Director partners closely with cross-functional teams-including Finance, Operations, HR, Recruiting, and Training-to ensure seamless alignment between headcount planning, budget cycles, and hiring timelines. They are responsible for developing and maintaining scalable staffing models that incorporate key planning variables such as average handle time (AHT), volume, shrinkage, occupancy, and utilization. This individual provides executive-level reporting and scenario modeling to support strategic decisions related to site expansion, vendor allocation, outsourcing, and automation.
Additionally, the Associate Director collaborates with Real-Time Management, Scheduling, and Forecasting teams to ensure consistent and coordinated execution of workforce strategies. A critical part of the role is leading and developing a team of analysts and planners, fostering a high-performing and growth-oriented environment. The Associate Director is also charged with continuously improving capacity planning processes by incorporating industry best practices, enhancing planning tools, and automating manual workflows. As a subject matter expert, they represent WFM capacity planning during business reviews, audits, and cross-functional initiatives.

**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
+ 10+ years of experience in Workforce Management, with at least 6 years in a leadership role focused on capacity or resource planning.
+ Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with expertise in Excel, SQL, and WFM tools (e.g., Verint, NICE, Genesys, Aspect).
+ Experience with statistical forecasting models and scenario planning.
+ Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including senior executives.
+ Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives and driving operational efficiencies.
+ Experience in large-scale contact centers, healthcare operations, BPO environments, or similar high-volume settings preferred.

**Primary Purpose**
**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**
This position leads and supports capacity planning efforts to ensure the reliability, resilience, and efficiency of ComEd's electric distribution system. This role develops and applies advanced planning methodologies, load forecasting, and system modeling to anticipate future grid needs driven by electrification, distributed energy resources (DER), climate impacts, and policy mandates such as the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA). Also, this role collaborates across engineering, operations, and regulatory teams to identify and justify infrastructure investments, optimize system performance, and support decarbonization. This role provides technical expertise and strategic guidance to inform capital planning, grid modernization initiatives, and customer programs. This position may require the candidate to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
**Primary Duties**
**PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
+ Performs capacity planning studies of the ComEd distribution system using CYME power flow analysis software. Prepares load forecasts and analyzes modification and modernization impacts to the distribution grid.
+ Designs electrical drawings in AutoCAD and prepares scope and cost estimates for general load growth, Reliability, DER interconnection, Voltage Optimization, Distribution Automation, Electrification, Data Center, and substation projects.
+ Evaluates, develops, and leads projects that have significant financial and operational impact. Plans, writes, and performs tasks for project deliverables.
+ Provides support to the distribution operations department for planned or emergency switching requests.
+ Participates in or leads cross-departmental meetings/conference calls to ensure alignment within the company (may include providing direct oversight of contractors).
+ Serves as an expert for a designated planning area.
+ Supports regulatory filings and may serve as an expert witness or provide expert opinions on planning-related information.
+ Recommends strategies to improve system performance and cost-effectiveness to align with company goals.
