Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Business Analyst to support strategic projects within our Middle Office , Derivatives Operations , and Collateral Management spaces. This role requires someone who can transform complex ideas into clear visual representations, facilitate and lead discussions with both technical and business teams, and ensure that all project requirements are carefully analyzed and executed. Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Solution Framing :
- Lead discussions across multiple teams (e.g., front-to-back offices, technology, operations) to understand full project requirements and desired solutions.

- When issues arise post-release, lead the investigation by asking, "Was this seen in testing?" and help improve the testing process for future releases.
- Act as a conduit for clear, timely status reporting, delivering relevant updates in a format tailored to the audience-especially executives and senior leadership.
- Provide clear and concise level statements to keep stakeholders informed of progress, issues, and solutions.
- Middle Office & Collateral Management Focus :
- Support projects related to middle office operations , collateral management , and derivatives operations , including optimization initiatives, new memberships at clearing houses, corrective actions, and other projects tied to business lines.
- Work collaboratively with various teams to deliver initiatives focused on middle office clearing and collateral management, while navigating the complexity of the capital markets environment.
- Collaboration & Communication :
- Actively engage with internal stakeholders across the organization, including business users, technology teams, operations, and SMEs, to gather feedback and ensure solutions align with business needs.
- Facilitate discussions and drive decision-making by framing problems, offering insights, and challenging assumptions.

- Experience :
- 5+ years of experience in capital markets , middle office operations , or collateral management , with a focus on technology change execution.
- Familiarity with the full trade lifecycle and a solid understanding of what happens to a trade post-execution.
- Strong background in requirements gathering and business analysis , ideally with some experience leading project delivery in a technology-focused environment.
- Prior experience supporting collateral management , derivatives operations , or related functions is a plus.
- Technical & Analytical Skills :
- Experience with tools like Jira and Confluence for project management and collaboration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting; ability to create and maintain complex spreadsheets.
- Strong presentation skills, including the ability to create clear, visually engaging decks for stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- While hands-on SQL is not required, familiarity with it is a plus and will help in understanding the logical structure of business processes.

Skills and Requirements
6-10+ years of experience as a Capital Markets Business Analyst
Strong Capital Markets product knowledge (Interest Rate Derivatives, Bonds, Fixed Income, Swaps, Repos, Options, Cash flows, Risk Calculations, etc.)
Experience working with technology teams
Experience with project delivery tasks and responsibilities
