The auto sales job responsibilities include managing a customer database, greeting showroom visitors, facilitating test drives, collaborating with our sales manager, conducting follow-ups, and more! Compensation:

$50,000 - $125,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as an expert in new and used cars’ performance and key differences to thoroughly answer all customer questions
  • Leverage strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with potential car sales customers
  • Greet and assist customers entering the showroom floor to present a professional environment that supports automotive sales
  • Leverage negotiation skills without compromising customer satisfaction to carry out the sales process following dealership standards and policies
  • Maintain an up-to-date customer database to drive current and future automotive sales
  • Arrange test drives, demos, and other presentations to showcase vehicle features and impress potential buyers professionally

  • Communicate with customers through email and phone calls in order to schedule appointments for customers to visit the store by performing the following duties
  • Respond to customer requests from the Internet lead system and gather information from the customer about the make, type, and quality of vehicle desired; trade-in details; customer’s goals

Qualifications:
  • Stellar communication skills, negotiation skills, time management, and interpersonal skills are all crucial for meeting customer needs
  • A valid state-issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required
  • Prior sales experience in a dealership or showroom setting a plus

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

Core Responsibilities


  • Meets dealership sales goals.
  • Determine each customers vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction scores at or above company standards.
  • Complete all paperwork accompanying vehicle sales
  • Demonstrate vehicles (includes test drives).
  • Establish personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
  • Report to the vehicle Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews and analysis.
  • Keep up-to-date of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit customers.
  • Attend sales meetings and training offered by the dealership and the manufacturer.
  • Maintain a prospect development system.
  • Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business.
  • Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively.
  • Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technological changes in the products.
  • Know and understand equity and values, and be able to explain depreciation to the customer.
  • Know and understand the federal, state and local laws which govern retail auto sales.
  • Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealerships service department.
  • Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager.
  • Follows Safeguards and Compliance rules and regulations.
Required Qualifications


  • Previous sales experience
  • Working knowledge of social media and the internet
  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • Valid in-state drivers license with good driving record.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Experience in an automotive dealership

*** Direct hire permanent full-time position ( W2 salary with full benefits + sales commissions ) with our client ( publicly traded company with $10+ billion / year in sales volume globally ) that provides payment and financial services solutions to businesses and financial institutions.
*** We are seeking a candidate for an onsite ( collaborating with ADP as a corporate business partner - this is NOT a role with ADP or for ADP - but you will be working in their offices ) sales representative role to work with small businesses / merchants.
*** This role does NOT involve mid-market or enterprise clients = SHORT sales cycles = MULTIPLE sales deals per month
Inside Sales Representative / Inbound Sales Representative ( Business Consultant, Sales Manager, Sales Executive, Account Executive ) :
- Represent company onsite in an ADP office ( ADP is a corporate business partner ) as the dedicated business consultant.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ADP sales people to generate referrals from then.
- Influence ADP sales representatives to cross-sell corporate solutions ( business management tools, point of sale hardware / payment terminals, and payment processing solutions ) alongside their own (ADP) payroll services.
- Source, sign, and activate merchants / small businesses from ADP-provided leads.
- Manage sales pipeline through the full cycle: lead to signed contract to account activation.
Required Qualifications ( Skills, Experience ) :
- Sales experience in a quota-driven environment working with small business clients / merchants. Prior experience in partner or channel sales. Inside sales. Inbound sales.
