Job Description

As an Architect Professional in our Data Centers group, you'll contribute to projects that enable the heart of our clients' successful data center facilities engineering, design and construction. In this role, you will have the chance to work on projects including engineering and design of data centers and other mission-critical facilities. You'll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. This role is based in Omaha, NE.

Title: Personal Care Attendant (Florida PACE Centers)

Job Summary

Performs participant care activities and other tasks as assigned to assist the Nursing and Therapeutic Recreation staff.

Essential Job Functions
  • Provides basic nursing assistance to participants as established in department's policies and procedures.( i.e.: toileting, feeding, transportation and bathing when needed)
  • Documents treatments/procedures, observations, nursing care and participant care activities on appropriate forms per established department guidelines, when needed.
  • Takes assigned participants monthly weight and reports results to PACE dietician.
  • Ensures that resident's/participant's rights are adhered to.
  • Participates in departmental activities, multidisciplinary team meetings, department meetings and in-services and follows established guidelines as needed.
  • Completes monthly training in a timely manner.
  • Assists with monthly outings when assigned.
  • Participates in a structured rotation program that provides cross training for all PCA duties in the PACE program.
Job Requirements

Education:
  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Graduate of a Certified Nursing Assistant Program
Experience:
  • 3 months clinical experience as a CNA preferred
  • Minimum one-year experience working with a frail/elderly population
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Certified by the State of Florida as a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
  • Valid Florida Driver's License & Proof of Insurance preferred
  • Current CPR Certification
Abilities Required
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to speak read and write English and Spanish, knowledge of Creole a plus
  • Ability to think and act calmly to meet unusual occurrences of the job
  • Demonstrates a caring attitude toward PACE participants, participants, family members, employees, and other facility guests
  • Ability to stand or walk 90% of the day
  • Ability to bend and stoop frequently

Essential Job Functions

• Performs comprehensive nursing history and physical on new referrals.

• Creates appropriate care plan and participates in IDT.

• Evaluates and triages participants with episodic illnesses

• Refers participants to medical director or medical specialist as indicated

• Actively participates in family conferences.

• Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings, committees and work groups as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

Experience:

• At least 1 year of RN or 3 years of LPN required

• Minimum one-year experience working with a frail/elderly population

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current RN license by the Florida State Board of Nursing

• Valid Florida Driver's License & Proof of Insurance

• BLS certification required

• ACLS preferred

Abilities Required

• Bilingual English/Spanish, knowledge of Creole a plus

• Proven clinical leadership

• Ability to get along with others in an interdisciplinary team environment

• Normal working condition with adequate lighting and ventilation

• Ability to assist transferring patients and ambulation which may involve lifting, pushing, and pulling of patients from 50-150 pounds

• Demonstrates professionalism and accountability
