Your Role:

As the YoungStar Coaching Manager , you will be responsible for supervising a team of coaches and content specialists to ensure that work is completed with fidelity and quality. The Coaching Manager builds and maintains a collaborative Professional Learning Community among coaching and training teams and ensures consistency and continuous improvement in coaching practices. They will report to the Deputy Director of Program Support to keep a clear line of communication on programmatic initiatives and related concerns between specialists and coaches across the state. The Coaching Manager also works with other Managers and their teams to streamline the work, develop and codify practices and protocol, and develop an overall coaching team that

supports the providers.

What You'll Do:
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and manage coaches and/or content specialist who deliver customized support to providers with their practices at the individual level, program level, or when needed toexecute the program with fidelity.
  • Build an effective team that is capable of delivering high-quality support and interfacing effectively with other YoungStar Connect teams, Coaching Managers, Content Specialists, Instructional Designers, subcontractors, and external resources.
  • Evaluate data to inform and improve individual and team practices.
  • Provide continual professional development for each team member at a regular frequency,including mentoring individuals as they complete their work with providers to ensure continued content expertise and consistency among team members.
  • Provide direct coaching support to programs in the Southeastern Region of Wisconsin (Kenosha, Milwaukee, Racine, or Waukesha County)which includes: working with assigned programs to collect and validate data and self-assessment results and to develop improvement goals and plans; engaging in a practice, observation, and reflection/feedback coaching cycle with providers; providing tools/resources to support program's identified goals; completing program ratings; and inputting data into the YoungStar Case Management System.
  • Develop updates, and/or follows established protocols and procedures that ensure training and coaching practices are consistently and reliably deployed.
  • Participate in assigned meetings, events and training as required (in-person and virtually, as well as attends ongoing professional development courses).
  • Supervise assigned department personnel. Includes the following responsibilities, but are not limited to: hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and the completion of all work performed by direct reports.
  • Educate direct reports on all department and company policies and procedures.
  • Meet with assigned staff regularly to identify and resolve problems, manage projects, track goals,and review work processes and procedures.
  • Represent the team and/or department at meetings, events, and training as required.
What You Bring:
  • Associate's degree or two credentials in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development or related field required. Bachelor's, Master's degree or Coaching Credential/Certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the early education field required; experience in WI YoungStar system strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of center-based leadership experience and/or 2+ years of coaching experience required.
  • Completion of all required state trainings and certifications.
  • Experience delivering training within a single early education program or to multiple programs strongly preferred.
  • Specialized training around implicit bias, anti-bias ECE programming, equity, inclusion and related area.
  • Experience teaching or coaching in an ECE classroom/program setting; Experience coaching or training in Wi YoungStar system strongly preferred.
  • Recognized as a Master Trainer and/or Approved Consultant through the Wisconsin Registry's Professional Development Approval System (PDAS).
  • Experience working with a variety of ECE program types, including at a minimum, both family and group childcare.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and/or participating in a Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) in a program and/or local, regional, or state level.
  • Physical exam and background checks are required for this position.
  • Travel required locally in the Southeastern WI region up to 60% of the time for work-related meetings and coaching support.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation.

Where: 60 % travel within Southeastern Region of Wisconsin (Kenosha, Milwaukee, Racine, or Waukesha County)

How Much: This position pays up to $76,737 annually

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited college or university preferred.
+ Minimum 3 years of quality improvement experience in a service and/or sales-oriented environment preferred.

**Overview:**
The Leadership and Functional team focuses on growing great leaders and developing the critical skills that support the business. This candidate will also support the thought leadership and innovation, analysis and impact measurement, budget management, process ownership, and compliance of these programs and experiences.
This position requires the ability to deliver high quality work in a fast-paced dynamic environment to support our colleagues' development. Successful candidates will be results-driven, adaptable to change, have an external and enterprise mindset, and be able to manage competing priorities within tight deadlines.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead project management for leadership assessment and coaching programs (e.g., LBI, BetterUp, Amex 360) end-to-end from planning, contracting, vendor and budget management, nominations (as applicable), communications, metrics tracking, and delivery oversight
+ Lead end-to-end project management for key executive assessment, coaching, and development solutions
+ Partner with vendors to design and review content for our leadership assessment and coaching programs
+ Provide consultation and collaborate with our Colleague Strategic Partners (HR Business Partners) and other stakeholders across CE
+ Identify and carry out data analyses, develop insights and make recommendations, to drive continuous improvement of our programs
+ Partner with Risk, Privacy and Compliance teams to ensure strong governance and risk controls in place
+ Conduct ongoing research on external best practices and recommend strategies for continuous improvement
+ Build and support our strategy and approach through key strategic projects
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ 6 years' experience in HR with experience in leadership assessments, coaching and/or development program management, with a proven track record in designing and developing innovative colleague experience strategies
+ Experience in supporting the design and delivery of high-quality, end-to-end colleague-centric learning strategies as a self-starter with a solution-focused mindset
+ Strong end-to-end project management skillset and attention to detail; track record of timely delivery of high-quality work
+ Demonstrated ability to apply analytical skills to draw insights and make data‐driven recommendations
+ Strong collaboration and relationship building skills across stakeholders both internally and externally to drive results
