The FMC (Factory-made cigarettes)Deploy scientist will be responsible for supporting product development activities while ensuring internal business and regulatory compliance objectives are maintained throughout the development cycle.

**Position Summary:**
An established biopharmaceutical organization is seeking an experienced scientific leader to serve as Director of Cell Therapy Process Development. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to lead the advancement and optimization of a robust, commercial-scale manufacturing process for a cell therapy product currently in late-stage clinical development. The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership to drive manufacturing process development, critical process parameter identification, technology transfer, validation activities, and regulatory submission preparation. **Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead development and optimization of manufacturing processes for a cell therapy product, ensuring robustness and reproducibility. Oversee technology transfer activities between R&D and commercial manufacturing.
+ Drive process improvement initiatives focused on enhancing productivity, yield, and product quality through adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies.

**Qualifications:**
+ PhD in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related discipline preferred; MS with extensive relevant experience will be considered.
+ At least 12 years of industry experience in bioprocess development, including a minimum of 8 years in leadership roles within biopharmaceutical manufacturing, with a preference for cell therapy expertise.
+ Deep knowledge of cell culture and cell therapy manufacturing processes, bioprocess modeling, data analytics, and automation technologies.
+ Proficiency with process risk assessment and quality methodologies, such as FMEA, Quality by Design (QbD), Design of Experiments (DoE), and statistical software (e.g., JMP).
+ Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements from FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines relevant to biologics and cell therapies, with experience preparing IND and BLA submissions.
+ Familiarity with analytical techniques including flow cytometry, ELISA, and potency assays supporting process development and product release.
+ Proven project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects, budgets, and resource allocation efficiently.
+ Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated success building and leading cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
+ Excellent communication skills, adept at conveying complex technical information to diverse audiences.
+ Experience working with cell-based therapies or personalized medicine products highly desirable.

**Position Summary:**
An innovative biotechnology company is seeking a **Research Associate - Cell Therapy Process Development** to support lab-based efforts to develop and optimize cutting-edge cell therapy manufacturing processes. This is a fully onsite role, ideal for candidates with a strong scientific background in biology or related fields, and hands-on experience with cell culture techniques in an academic or industry setting. The individual in this position will contribute to key R&D activities, support technology transfer efforts, and receive structured training while working closely with cross-functional teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Execute laboratory experiments to support the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for cell-based therapies, including media prep, cell expansion, harvesting, and formulation.
+ Perform hands-on cell culture work in a cleanroom or lab environment, following strict aseptic techniques.
+ Analyze experimental data and communicate results clearly to internal teams; participate in regular project meetings and updates.
+ Assist in troubleshooting experiments and improving existing protocols in collaboration with team members.
+ Support process validation and technology transfer activities as new methods and systems move toward GMP clinical and commercial use.
+ Draft and revise technical documents including batch records, SOPs, protocols, and reports.
+ Participate in maintaining documentation in accordance with GMP and regulatory standards.
+ Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance and effective process development support.
+ Maintain lab equipment and materials, and follow safety protocols consistently.
+ Work onsite in the lab five days a week; occasional weekend work may be required depending on project timelines.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
+ 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a research, academic, or industry lab environment-cell culture experience required.
+ Experience working with cell therapy products is a plus, but not required.
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fully onsite laboratory setting.
+ Strong scientific foundation and an eagerness to continue learning and developing new technical skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to document results and follow protocols accurately.
+ Basic understanding of GMP, GLP, or other regulatory frameworks is a plus.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience using electronic lab notebooks or data analysis software (e.g., JMP) is helpful.
+ Must be comfortable handling human tissue samples and following safety protocols.
