3. Executes a variety of laboratory tests and analyses to confirm findings.

4. Accurately enters data and results within the laboratory information system. Maintains quality assurance records.

5. Serves as a technical resource person and troubleshoots problems in the daily operation of equipment and specimen evaluation.

6. Operates, calibrates, prepares and maintains equipment.

7. Maintains laboratory supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipates needed supplies; places and expedites orders for supplies; verifies receipt of supplies.

8. Prepares reports of technological findings by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

9. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Responsibilities:

• Provides, together with the Medical Staff and Nursing Staff as well as Hospital administration, the type and scope of radiological services required to meet the needs of the patients at KCC.

• Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of radiological services.

• Participates in the review of radiological services, both current and for the future.

• Assesses and improves the quality of care and services.

• Utilize a variety of diagnostic and image-guided therapeutic techniques, including all aspects of radiological diagnosis, nuclear radiology, diagnostic ultrasound, magnetic resonance, computed tomography, interventional procedures and the use of any other imaging in the diagnosis and treatment of patients at KCC. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
