SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The primary purpose of Treasury Assistant position is to ensure all payments received by each Penn State Health entity are deposited accurately into the appropriate financial institution and related account, batched and reconciled in our internal system, and communicated to appropriate departments. Treasury Assistant II employees are proficient in executing all Level I tasks. They are following all procedures and are able to adapt them to the needs of the department. Their daily tasks also include non-routine assignments. Their knowledge about Treasury processes allows them to be able to research items and resolve some issues. They can make decisions within their assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience (4 years)
- At least two (2) years of account receivable and cash reconciliation experience required

This position is responsible for the processing of currency collections and ATM and Redemption machine replenishment, performing daily vault accountability, and balancing the currency ledgers. The position requires accuracy, dependability, and strong organizational abilities. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process and verify currency counts; maintain inventory counts and levels, including vault accountability processes
- Data entry of cash receipts including coding and filing
- Research unidentified cash
- Daily/monthly bank and cash reconciliations
- Communicate with customers, field, and other departments
- Manage timely and accurate processing of cash collections
- Count, separate, pack, and unpack currency
- Strap/unstrap and seal/unseal bags
- Perform basic accounting and counting skills
- Daily reporting of any and all variances found withing processes to Processing Supervisor and Director of Processing.
- Utilize and maintain working knowledge of Cash Logistic System.
- Assist with other duties and projects as assigned
- Previous bank, casino, or financial industry teller experience preferred
- 2-3 years of experienced cash handling preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees

Base Pay Range :

Did you know Smurfit Westrock is one of the largest integrated recyclers in the United States? We manage the entire recycling process from collecting materials to producing new fiber. Our Recycle Fulfillment Center is seeking a strong individual to join our Accounts Receivable Team as a SSAR Cash Coordinator. This individual will report to the AR Manager and will collaborate closely with external suppliers, recycling customer service representatives, recycling buyers, External customers, and multiple corporate teams. This role is 90% processing incoming cash cases from mom-and-pop accounts to large high-volume companies. Research and apply previous cases that were not 100% applied and Unmatched/Unbilled Cases. Reworking cases sent for application but not applied. You would be ensuring that payments are applied to the appropriate accounts/invoices. Identifies and resolves payment discrepancies and answer inquires pertaining to remittance. Requirement is that you process at least 70 cases a day for incoming and 35+ partially applied. Intermediate or above Excel (pivots and VLOOKUPu2019s and Pivot tables and currently uses on a daily basis. Skillset to fix recurring issues regarding Cash, this could be internally or externally with the customer. Out of the box thinking required. Process Improvement Minded. Another 10% will be spent on Portfolio Management and Discrepancies. Ability to understand and use templates that have heavy formulas. The Cash Logistics Processor Role:
In branch locations around the world, we're doing the critical cash accounting work that keeps modern commerce moving. Our work is essential, so our team members are essential. We verify bank deposits, prepare cash shipments and connect money from one place to the next. We do it because it makes us proud - #BrinksProud. As a Cash Logistics Processor at Brink's, you'll work within our branch locations to account for the cash and valuables we transport to banks and businesses worldwide.
This position requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Brink's and its customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Check in all work and cash through window

Verify cash, perform data input into iTrack, mix and check for all deposit types including check only, CompuSafe, ATM, Recyclers and mixed

Process check imaging into FIS system

Balance all individual teller sells
-
Validate bulk pull and fill each order by packing slip.

Complete checklist according to established deadlines for each major function throughout the day

Clean off stations at end of day, bundle trash according to specified procedure, sort deposit slips, ensure no work is remaining, print check manifest and make sure deposits match

Ensure all imaged work and teller paperwork is delivered to the appropriate areas and/or filed appropriately

Follow any direction provided by supervisor and/or manager
The Qualifications You Must Have:

18 years old or older

Minimum of 3 months experience in any cash handling, inventory control, deposit processing, vault processing, account reconciliation, ATM processing environments or being a Cashier or Teller

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Ability to satisfactorily complete and maintain all required internal training applicable to the position.

Key Responsibilities of a Cash Analyst:
- Maintain visibility into company liquidity and daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts
- Update and enhance the 13-week cash forecast weekly, integrating actuals and business inputs
- Lead variance analysis between forecasted and actual cash flows to improve forecasting models
- Collaborate with FP&A and business units to identify financial trends, risks, and timing impacts
- Support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and financial risk modeling related to cash flow
- Drive continuous improvement of forecasting models using historical data and updated assumptions
- Prepare executive-level liquidity reports, including trend analysis and forecast variances
- Partner with FP&A to align short-term cash forecasts with long-term financial plans
Requirements of a Cash Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or cash management
- Experience with short-term cash forecasting, preferably in event-, project-, or seasonal-driven businesses
- Strong financial modeling and variance analysis skills
- Solid understanding of cash flow, P&L, and balance sheet relationships
- Proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, advanced formulas); BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) a plus
- Familiarity with ERP (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle) and Treasury Management Systems (Kyriba, SAP Treasury)
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with ability to present to finance and non-finance audiences
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset with strong reporting accuracy
Compensation: $75,000 to $90,000 annually
