Cashier Openings:

Thank you for your interest in our SP Plus cashier openings at Bradley Int'l Airport, Windsor Locks, CT. We operate 24 hrs per day, seven days per week including holidays. The following positions are currently available.

*All Cashier Schedules: start @ $14.00/$5.00 hr. P/T & F/T. On the job training is provided.

Based on your application, we would like to set an interview time and date to discuss your suitability for this position. These scheduled shifts will change as "NEW HIRES" accept current open shifts.

OPEN Cashier Shifts: We are currently looking for Full-Time & Part-Time cashiers for 1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts. We recently added a few New Schedules in Lot 2 for 1st & 2nd shift (10:45A-6:45P) & (6:45P-2:45A). Also, the other shift we have open is a floater cashier 40 hrs for cashier vacations, must be flexible as this schedule will change from week to week @ 15.50 an hr.

"On Call" P/T cashiers are needed for all shifts as standby for regularly scheduled cashier call-outs, etc. Days and hours are variable from week to week. All cashiers start at 14.00 / 15.00 an hr. unless you are on the floater vacation schedule 40 hrs "full-time" @ 15.50 hr.



All positions require reliable transportation. We are looking for customer-friendly staff with a good work ethic. Previous cashier experience desired. We offer three paid training days, while you learn our fee-computer and paperwork procedures.

Note: Pre-employment Background checks & drug tests are required prior to a hire/start date.

Thank you for your interest in our Maintenance Porter - Driving position.

Currently, we have two opening's for a Full-Time maintenance porter/customer service & groundskeeper at SP+ Parking in Windsor Locks, CT. (Bradley Int'l Airport), The position pays 15.00 / 16.00 per hr.

The scheduled hours for these opening's are as follows 2nd shift (6:00 PM-02:30 AM) Thursday through Monday 40hrs with Tuesday & Wednesday OFF. The other open shift Thursday through Monday 40hrs 1st & 3rd shifts 3 days Sat, Sun, Mon (01:30 AM-10:00 AM) with 2 days 1st shift. The additional days are Thurs & Fri. (10 AM-6:30 PM) with Tuesday & Wednesday OFF. Overtime is often available, particularly during winter weather. We operate 24 hrs per day, seven days per week including holidays.

We are looking for reliable, hard-working personnel who are able to work unsupervised, outdoors in all weather. The ideal candidate would have reliable transportation and previous mechanical or groundskeeper experience. A valid driver's license is necessary, along with the ability to lift 55 pounds. Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment background, drug test, & MVR is required. On the JOB paid training is provided.

Improper use of safety equipment and/or not following proper lifting techniques may pose a risk of injury to customers, pets, and Pet Care Center personnel. Position Overview

As a Sales Solutions Generalist you'll provide each customer with the best experience possible by helping them find and purchase animals, supplies and services. During each interaction, you will discuss the needs of the guest and their pet/s to provide solutions for today, as well as in the future and assist with connecting them with a Specialist when appropriate. You'll work the cash register and ensure that our merchandise is properly stocked and priced, providing an excellent experience for each of our guests. You can excel in this role by exhibiting a passion for the welfare, health, and proper handling of all animals as well as being a positive partner within the whole Pet Care Center team.

  • Completes and applies training programs to maintain a high level of expertise of their role.
  • Adhere to established operational guidelines, policies, and procedures.

  • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Evaluate guest inquiries and as needed refers to the Leader on Duty.

Basic Qualifications

Be able to work successfully within a team. In addition to having a professional appearance and demeanor, applicants must also demonstrate a keen and genuine interest in animals and their care. Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills are necessary due to the nature of interaction with the public and other partners and leaders within the store.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience within sales, retail, or related field. Possess a high level of knowledge of pet nutrition and an aptitude for sales techniques.

Work Environment

The majority of job duties are conducted indoors, although merchandise receiving, merchandise carry-outs, or stock balancing will require leaving the store briefly. This position requires bending, kneeling, moving merchandise and standing for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and pull 2000 lbs utilizing material handling equipment. Improper use of safety equipment and/or not following proper lifting techniques may pose of risk of injury to customers, pets, and Pet Care Center personnel. Follow all safety precautions and procedures. Must be available for shifts on evenings, weekends and some overnights and holidays.
