**Reports to:** Associate Director of Operations (ADO)
**Direct Reports:** All center positions except quality personnel
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
· Oversee center operations, including achieving production goals, monitoring net yields, and implementing improvement plans.
· Improve donor retention and flow by analyzing trends and implementing corrective strategies to enhance the donor experience.
· Ensure compliance with all Company SOPs and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
· Lead financial management activities including annual budget planning, achieving monthly financial goals, and overseeing accurate cash handling and reporting.
· Escalate quality concerns to the Associate Director of Operations.
· Analyze performance data to improve quality, efficiency, and profitability, and implement corrective action plans.
· Support audit processes by addressing findings with action plans and maintaining a state of constant inspection readiness.
· Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and OSHA requirements, while ensuring all team members are trained on safety practices.
· Lead HR functions, including recruitment, training, development, performance management, and terminations, while minimizing turnover and adhering to policy.
· Manage local marketing and advertising activities to ensure understanding of promotional goals.
· Represent the center in the local community and with local partners, vendors, and media outlets.
· Safeguard the confidentiality of all employees, donor, and center information.

**JOB SPECIFICATIONS:**
**Education**
· Bachelor's Degree preferred, OR Equivalent combination of education and professional work experience (minimum 4 years) required.
**Experience**
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role, responsible for overseeing the activities of others required.
**Additional Requirements**
· Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance practices
· Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
**Physical and Mental Requirements**
· Reach, bend, kneel, and use fine motor skills to lift up to 25 lbs.
· Standing and walking required up to 100% of the time.

Center Manager
Acts as the general manager for a Plasma Collection Center and has overall responsibility for the center's operation. Works under general occasional guidance and general oversight of regional management. Manages the daily operations of the center, supervising operations and quality control, and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Responsible for meeting quarterly goals, staffing/hours per labor efficiency standards/cost per liter (CPL) targets and Quality key performance indicators (KPI) goals.
+ Create appropriate organizational environment and value systems which stimulate the morale and productivity of the work force and its leadership.
+ Operates the center and manages employees and operations to the highest standard of ethics and integrity.
+ Manages staff to ensure that training and quality goals are met and to implement operational changes and maximize center efficiency.
+ Directs and manages employees.
+ Monitor and evaluate operations. Develop action plans to maximize center efficiency and supervise the implementation of process improvements.
+ Manages headcount to provide for efficient staffing through high and low production intervals, providing accurate and timely projections to regional management team in advance of cyclical and seasonal or situational spikes.
+ Accountable for the direction of all personnel functions including hiring, assignment and direction of work, development and training, disciplinary actions and termination and the maintenance of all personnel records.

+ Accountable for the adequacy of inventory of all goods and supplies necessary for center operations and oversee ordering goods as needed.
+ Assure center employees maintain the facility in a neat and clean condition and all equipment is kept in good working order.
+ Accountable for freezer management, including overseeing plasma shipments and equipment failures. Required to answer all freezer alarms and deal with them appropriately.
+ Submit timely and accurate reports on a daily/weekly basis or as requested.
+ Develop community representation with regards to all public relations and marketing campaigns to attract and retain donors.
+ Maintains thorough familiarity and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved Standard Operating Procedures, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), and Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).

+ Minimize center liability through constant risk management review. Investigates all unsafe situations and complaints and institutes corrective/preventive action.
+ Establishes and maintains the ability to perform all tasks within the center; fulfills the role of production employees when the occasional need arises.
+ Assumes Regional management oversight and mentoring duties for select facilities/projects or in ROMs absence.

**Responsible for providing support to the Operations Department in three key areas: 1) temporary direct support to plasma collection centers to address a specific deficiency or serve as an interim Center Manager; 2) provide operations expertise in the execution of corporate projects; and 3) support new plasma collection center development projects. Also, operates within the scope of EU Good Practice Guidelines and FDA's current Good Manufacturing Practice/21CFR.**
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Daily Operations Management**
+ Performs opening and closing duties (e.g., powering on/off equipment, documents petty funds and donor fund disbursement, locking up monies and files, maintains alarm system, etc.) as required.
+ Manages reception area (e.g., steady flow of production, special program monitoring documentation, plasma collection center logs and record, etc.) as needed.
+ Ensures reception area, plasma room, and donor floor are well-stocked to handle current and next day's production.
+ Maintains daily, weekly, or monthly reporting documents (e.g., Donor Fees Reporting, Softgoods Inventory, Haemonetics Reports, PCS2 Logs and Event Tracking Logs, Payroll, Production reporting, etc.).
+ Ensures daily completion of plasma collection center logs and records (i.e., Final Weight sheets, Shipping Temperature Records, Quality Control Records).
+ Ensures timely response to alarms and maintains alarm system.
**Problem Resolution**
+ Maintains all aspects of daily plasma collection center functions (e.g., personnel, products, donors, computers, etc.).
+ Keeps immediate supervisor informed of any irregularities within the plasma collection center and provides constructive information about process improvements including resolutions.
+ Minimizes plasma collection center liability through risk management review including review of Medical Incident Reports, minor incident logs, and drives effective, timely corrective actions.
+ Manages all donor incidences including donor red cell loss, over/under draws, donor reactions and behavioral issues timely.
+ Recommends donor recruitment techniques and manages customer and donor complaints through to resolution.
**Operations Coverage**
May be deployed in an _interim role_ as Center Manager (i) to a plasma collection center in the absence of a center manager (ii) to a center experiencing significant operational challenges. In these instances, the following duties apply:
+ Manages/oversees all operational aspects, including production, quality performance, people management, equipment, and plasma inventory management/shipping processes.
+ Trains new plasma collection center management staff and provides direct supervision of center employees.
+ Provides management support to new plasma collection centers, including equipment installation/qualification and center set up, recruiting of center staff, center leadership training, and support of opening and 90-day production volume ramp up targets.
+ Participates and supports operations driven projects related to continuous process improvement such as SOP updates, training, inventory, investigations and/or other needs as directed by leadership.
**Operational Compliance Oversight**
+ Ensures compliance of all plasma collection center activities with KEDPLASMA SOPs and other Company standards and protocols meet the regulatory requirements of the FDA, EMEA, Customer Specifications, and other regulatory bodies as required.
+ Evaluate and support center specialty program utilization of available checklists/tools.
+ Directs and supervises plasma collection center employees to maintain quality assurance procedures.
+ Trains employees to maintain daily center operations.
+ Ensures professional customer service skills, courtesy, and respect are utilized by plasma collection center staff to maximize donor retention.
+ Identifies all potential, serious, or chronic problems affecting quality or compliance.
**Fiscal and Administrative Duties**
+ Works with Center Manager to hire, train, and coordinate plasma collection center employees to ensure a competent, compliant, and quality team that yields production in accordance with company goals.
+ Works with Center Manager to prepare schedules for volume increases, vacation coverage and absenteeism.
+ Works with Center Manager to maintain up-to-date personnel records (e.g., employee evaluations, training documentation, attendance, etc.).
+ Works with Center Manager to ensure appropriate medical staff coverage is in place or replacement efforts initiated (e.g., Center Physician, Physician Substitute, etc.).
+ Maintains plasma collection center operations with fiscal responsibility in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Quality Assurance Programs (QAP), and general housekeeping.
+ Oversees reactive units' test results and completes unit disposition and paperwork follow through. This includes NAT Testing protocols and awareness of Viral Marker IQPP Standards.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
**Seeking a Clinical Center Manager like you who provides expertise and to be a champion of patient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.**
**As a Center Manager, you will:**
+ **Interview, hire, train, and supervise clinic staff**
+ **Develop and lead the execution of clinic goals and objectives in support of overall clinic performance and operations**
+ **You will manage all team performance including patient and visitor issues, providing feedback to employees, recognize good performance, and identify potential candidates for promotional opportunities.**
+ **Monitor patient flow including keeping patients informed, overseeing and seeking to reduce wait times acting on information provided by Web Check-in, and ensure efforts are coordinated to provide the highest quality care and services**
+ **Ensure all cash management procedures are followed appropriately**
+ **Regularly communicate with primary accounts**
+ **Ensure all compliance measures are met**
**You Should Have:**
+ **H.S. Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field is highly preferred**
+ **3+ years of experience in a medical office setting is required**
+ **1+ year of experience in the supervision of staff is helpful**
+ **RN, LPN, MA, NCT, RT or other applicable clinical license beneficial**
+ **BLS Certification is required within 30 days**
