About the Role
As a Histologist , you'll be an integral part of the surgical pathology team, performing complex histologic procedures to support accurate, high-quality diagnosis and research. You'll be responsible for preparing and processing tissue specimens using a full range of histologic methods, including embedding, microtomy, special staining, and immunohistochemistry. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform embedding, sectioning, staining (routine and special), coverslipping, and labeling of tissue specimens

  • Assist in gross room functions (as permitted by qualification) and specimen tracking

Michael Baker is actively seeking a Central Florida Transportation Leader to join our Transportation group in Orlando, FL. The right candidate will provide strong leadership to a team of engineers and designers on transportation projects; satisfy project and customer requirements, technical standards and adherence to quality standards, procedures, and protocols; and provide technical support, mentoring and development of junior professional staff. + Participates and attends departmental meetings, staff development, and professional programs, as appropriate
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ A.S. or equivalent experience
+ 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending upon formal degree or training
+ Extensive catering experience a plus
+ High volume, complex foodservice operations experience - highly desirable
+ Institutional and batch cooking experiences
+ Hands-on chef experience a must
+ Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
+ Must be experienced with computers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet
+ Must be willing to participate in client satisfaction programs/activities
+ ServSafe certified - highly desirable
