Job Summary:
The role of the Hospitalist is to provide high quality, cost effective, and evidence based medical care to the hospitalized patients. The Hospitalist is expected to provide clinical care for patients admitted at our affiliated hospitals, provide support to our surgical and specialty services through consultative general internal medicine practice. The Hospitalist is also responsible for coordinating care for patients at discharge and facilitating hand-off to the outpatient physician.
Primary Functions:
- Responsible for the assessment, evaluation and clinical management of patients in the acute facility. This is inclusive of performing histories and physicals, as well as, conducting physical examinations.
- Diagnosis and active management of patient conditions, including evaluation and treatment, inclusive of daily patient care.
- Attend multi-disciplinary rounds at site
- Orders, conducts, and interprets diagnostic studies and laboratory tests
- Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including but not limited to suturing, wound care, incision and drainage and splinting
- Prescribes or recommends pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, including controlled medications
- Consults appropriate physician(s) for patient care needs
- Refers patients to appropriate sources of care as required
- Assures the efficient utilization of resources while supporting clinical pathway implementation and compliance
- Assures appropriate and timely referrals to a tertiary care facility as indicated by the patient care needs in consultation with the primary care physician or attending physician
Education, Training, Experience:
- Doctorate degree in medicine (MD or DO).
- Completion of advanced graduate medical education in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible (IM or FP)
- Active FL medical license in good standing
- DEA license eligible/active
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Effective written, verbal and electronic communication skills
- Show initiative, creativity and problem-solving ability
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues to provide quality healthcare
- Ability to work under pressure
- Computer literacy
Additional Qualifications:
- Prior experience using an electronic medical records system (EPIC)
- Bilingual a plus, but not required

The Clinical Sales Specialistis responsible forsupporting the cardiovascular and endovascular product portfolio within a defined territory, with a strong focus on procedural case coverage. Working in close partnership with the Territory Manager and reporting to the Regional Sales Director, the position plays a key role in driving revenue growth by increasing product adoption, supporting current and prospective customers, and enhancing overall account performance. + Partner with Territory Managers and sales leadership to support territory growthobjectivesthrough high impact clinical education, procedural coverage, and ongoing customer engagement
+ Responsible for meeting revenue generation targets on assigned accounts within the region on a quarterly, semi-annual, and or annual basis
+ Focused on driving account penetration and increasingCordisproductutilizationin existing accounts through the cultivation of new physician users and re-engaging lost customers
+ Ability to conduct in-services and presentations to all staff (including Physicians, Mid-Level providers, nurses, techs, and management).
+ Complete training and obtaincertification for full suite of Cordis productsdemonstratingcompetency as defined by the training team
+ Ability to travel within territory and/or region
+ Proactively communicate daily with territory team members; provide regular updates on competitive, clinical, and customer situations
