The Birth Certificate Technician is responsible primarily for the preparation and processing of birth certificates on newborn patients. This position also provides backup for a variety of functions with the HIM Department requiring advanced knowledge and/or experience such as front office duties, release of information, record analysis, etc. as described below.

  • Completes Birth Certificates according to California state regulations utilizing the Electronic Birth Registration System (EBRS) provided by the California Department of Public Health.

Tuesday through Saturday - Night Shift - 2:00AM to 10:00AM

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver orders and pick up returns safely and accurately to and from stores and/or warehouses via driving a vehicle;
  • Required to load (with assistance if available) and unload (without assistance) all product for assigned vehicle;
  • Required to conduct a daily inspection of vehicle and report any and all deficiencies and/or defects immediately to direct Supervisor. Provide basic vehicle care and maintenance. Maintain accurate driving log;
  • Maintain a valid CDL driver's license with any required HAZMAT endorsement and driving record which meets underwriting standards. Maintain and carry at all times a valid DOT medical card;
  • Ensure each delivery location is secure;
  • Ensure cargo is secure before and during transport;
  • Ensure proper HAZMAT paperwork accompanies freight during transport and is transferred with the cargo;
  • Acknowledgement of and adherence to all Company policies and procedures as contained within the Fisher Auto Parts Employee, Driver's Handbooks, and Fleet Safety Policy which will be provided at the time of hire;

Starting Salary Range: $87,019 - $95,720

Up to 27% geographic modifier, depending on location

15K Sign on Bonus
40K Retention Bonus after 3 years

On Duty Housing at most locations

7/7 Schedule at most locations

Responsibilities

  • Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
  • Maintain accurate MTC and regulatory documentation and record keeping
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
  • Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
  • Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

 Minimum Requirements (VFR position)

  • Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
  • Helicopter instrument rating
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
  • 2,000 Total Flight Hours
  • 1,500 Helicopter Hours
  • 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
  • 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
  • 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
