PRIMARY FUNCTION: Performs technical work related to the certification program. Analyzes official documents to ensure all certified employees meet the requirements set by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission and meet all local employment regulations and policies. Advises certificated staff on coursework needed to maintain, update, and retain State teaching and administrative certification. Maintains the CPI requirements of the Human Resources Dept. Supports the reports in the TKES/LKES platform.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Handle inquiries regarding initial certification for potential applicants.
  • Prepares and distributes all certified employee contracts on an annual and monthly basis.
  • Prepares supplements for contracts yearly.
  • Prepares packets for certificate renewals and processes renewals with the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
  • Establishes and maintains certified experience files and updates experience on an annual basis.
  • Maintenance of Professionally Qualified Reports and In-Field Reports through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
  • Work with principals on retaining professionally qualified educators, keeping current on PQ/In-Field regulations, and compiling a list of non-renewal certificate holders.
  • Works with the payroll department by verifying experience and sick leave transfer on all new employees, preparing personnel action forms to payroll for all certificate upgrades, and sending to payroll notification of all educators who advance on the pay scale after a full year of experience.
  • Coordinate and process through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission all certificate upgrades.
  • Record and report educators whose annual evaluations do not meet required standards to the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
  • Assists with maintenance on the CPI report
  • Maintain the TKES/LKES Platform as the district super user
  • Coordinate and oversee the annual new teacher orientation.
  • Verify experience and leave transfer for prior employees.
  • Assists with Teacher Retirement reception planning.
  • Obtain, gather, and organize pertinent data as needed and put it into usable form.
  • Perform notary functions as required.
  • Prepare correspondence to the Georgia Professional Standards Commission as needed.
  • Serves as a team member of the Human Resources Department.
  • Attends workshops to keep current on all certification and highly qualified issues.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Human Resources Manager or Assistant Superintendent.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, OR TRAINING:
  • Minimum associate degree or clerical and business training as required for successful performance of assigned responsibilities.
  • REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Proficiency in clerical and computer skills, including knowledge of Google Suite, Infinite Campus, Smart Fusion, and other HR software programs. s.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of records and stakeholder information.
  • ?Possess sound interpersonal skills to meet and deal with the general public in a professional manner.
  • REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Knowledge of GA educator certification and/or PSC certification standards preferred.

Summary:

The Certification Specialist shall provide Internal Review and Program Analysis services for National Guard Bureau's (NGB) Certification Program to the Family Programs Branch. NGB Certification Program is an OSD requirement that focuses on quality control management of Family Program services and delivery within the 54 states and territories designed to review the delivery of services to Service members, family members, and veterans (when eligible) to ensure a basic level of continuity among all State Family Program offices.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide support to the NGB Certification Program through coordination with NGB, G1, A1, SFPDs, AFRPM, and other certification POCs.
  • Coordinate with states virtual upload of required documents for standards.
  • Review and report state's certification status at monthly meetings and as requested by leadership.
  • Provide administrative support and author reports, briefings, information papers, and other documents as required.
  • Support on site certification visit in an administrative and logistical support role.
  • Attend and assist with all onsite certification visits, if determined required by the government.
  • At site visit, act as the primary lead for administrative actions, such as cataloging daily reports from the onsite inspection team, coordinating any logistical needs of the team, tracking progress of team, and providing a daily recap of accomplishments of the team and developing out briefs.
  • Maintain OSD's Family Program Certification Management Tool with up to date information.
  • Provide training to states on using OSD's Family Program Certification Management Tool.
  • Submit After Action Reviews (AAR) after every onsite visit Author a Site Visit Report based on data collected from the onsite visit and input by the inspection team and a final State Certification Report Complete all required training for both Contract Company and the Government.
  • Submit monthly status reports.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Must have experience with using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and with using Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum Three (3) year's experience in related field.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the military, family programs, other military Service member support programs.

CERTIFICATION SPECIALIST

The Certification Specialist will be a support to site staff and at times cover for vacant positions and/or absent site employees while fulfilling compliance duties. The Certification Specialist will be responsible for assisting with certifications, audit preparation or corrections as assigned by the Regional Portfolio Manager or Community Director (if applicable) and provide support to the site staff.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with affordable housing programs and layering, and regulatory compliance in one or more programs such as: LIHTC, HUD programs (Project Based Section 8, Section 236, PRAC, 811 PRA), USDA-Rural Development (515), HCD, HOME Funds and Bonds. Must also have experience with rent, income and utility allowance adjustments and updates.
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required. College degree in a relatable field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience in the field of property management.
  • Affordable Housing/Tax Credit certification, preferred (C3P, HCCP, HCP-E, COS, TCS, CPO, FHC, NAHP, NAHPe, SCHM, etc.).
  • Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance which meets State requirements, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI’s Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
  • Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

**Summary:**
The Fenestration Product Certification Specialist will oversee and manage certifications and engineering product data for YKK AP products. This includes testing, certification, product labeling, and engineering product data management during the whole product life cycle.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Maintain a formalized database system to manage and secure product test reports, which are tagged, marked, identified, and posted.
+ Oversee product certifications and ensures they are filed timely and within compliance.
+ Support and advise the product development teams with respect to code compliance on all product systems.
+ Create standard operating procedures to ensure long term asset management of certification testing and other regulatory assets.
+ Manage process flow for data archiving and security management.
+ Manage certifications and code compliance for residential and commercial products.
+ Manage day-to-day user requirements of Autodesk Vault system.
+ Maintain and distribute the AutoCAD engineering templates, and all programs associated with the LISP routines.
+ Manage and coordinate BIM models with outside vendors.
+ Responsible for the quality assurance of YKK AP's Product Guide & YView.
+ Maintain bill-of-materials for standard systems to support EPDS, HPDs, and Declare Labels.
**Qualifications and Skill Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university in engineering, architectural or industrial design plus 3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Autodesk AutoCAD and Vault
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
+ High Attention to detail
+ FGIA Fenestration Associates preferred but not required.

The Payloads Safety and Airworthiness (SAW) Team within Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking **Certification Specialist** to join our team in Everett, WA.
The Payloads Organization is responsible for everything you see when you fly; and much of which you don't. The Interiors of the airplane, along with the cargo compartments, exterior markings, associated systems, and cabin safety all make up Payloads. We are how our airline customers fulfill their mission and represent their brand and shape how the public experiences flight. The Payloads SAW Team is responsible for leading strategic and tactical efforts to strengthen the overall Payloads compliance system and enhance overall applicant certification knowledge / functional excellence for stronger applicant showings.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with all the Payloads teams on all airplane models. This is a dynamic team where you will build strong working relationships with FAA delegated representatives in addition to other certification subject matter experts as you work on solutions and improvements within our Safety & Certification processes. Although much certification training is available, our team is focused on expanding certification and compliance training to strengthen our Payloads compliance knowledge.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Provides technical guidance to solve compliance related issues by using the Payloads Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) and Safety Management System (SMS)
+ Facilitates resolution of certification process issues
+ Provides oversight and approval of approaches to compliance with regulatory requirements and certification processes
+ Leads the Payloads organization in aspects of strengthening the compliance system
+ Leads and perform major minor change audits to be shared with the FAA
+ Leads enterprise-initiated assignments impacting Payloads compliance processes
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**
+ 1+ years of experience in aerospace industry
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**
+ 1+ years of experience in program or project management, leading projects and risk management
+ Experience working with FAA and EASA regulations
+ Self-directed and works under minimal direction
+ Adaptable in a dynamic work environment
+ Demonstrates strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
+ Excellent communication skill, both written and oral to a variety of audiences
