**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

Overview
Identify the training needs of the Transmission Operations Department and direct the development, implementation, and maintenance of training programs for new and existing Transmission System Operations (TSOs), TCC Supervisors, and other members of the department as directed. Establish and direct the training program so that it meets or exceeds the standards established to enable TSOs to achieve and maintain the required NERC and PJM certifications. Ensure that PPL training meets or exceeds readiness standards directed by NERC. Serve as a technical resource for other departments on topics related to Transmission Operations. Direct the creation of new training programs to meet changing departmental responsibilities.
Responsibilities
+ Direct and coordinate the development, preparation, and delivery of training courses for new and existing Transmission Operations personnel. Ensure internal compliance with FERC, NERC, PJM, ISO-NE, and PPL requirements. Monitor training methods and requirements at peer utilities to ensure use of "best practices".
+ Lead a team of Transmission Operations trainers by setting expectations, monitoring performance, and developing the team to continue striving towards excellence.
+ Support the development of Transmission System Operator candidates to ensure adequate staffing of the department. Direct and coordinate the development, preparation and delivery of the Initial Training Program (ITP) as required to support this goal.
+ Obtain NERC accreditation for PPL training courses, where applicable, to ensure TSOs receive the mandatory Continuing Education Hours (CEH's) of annual training. Represent PPL as a Peer Review Expert in the NERC CEH approval process.
+ Direct the development and delivery of Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) scenarios. Plan and execute individually tailored training sessions using the simulator to maintain ISO-NE/PJM/NERC certification skill levels for all TSOs.
+ Support the development and maintaining of the training program manuals and other support documentation in support of PPL's NERC compliance program. Provide expertise and support of Event Analysis to support the continuous learning and improvement of the department as a core member of the Transmission Operations leadership team.

Acuren is currently recruiting for Rope Access Level III Technician with NDT and/or API certifications for operations in Augusta GA and surrounding areas. THIS WILL BE A CALLOUT/TRAVEL POSITION.
Successful candidates must be able to travel up to 75% throughout GA, SC, AL, and FL. (Environments will be Pulp & Paper, Gas Plants, Refineries and Pharmaceuticals.)
Responsibilities
- Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
- Be conversant with relevant work techniques
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
- Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of level III
- Assist other technicians as required
- Ensure operational safety of all equipment
- SPRAT and/or IRATA Level 3 Certification required
- A thorough understanding of applicable rope access applications, and comprehensive knowledge of theory, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and hauling and advanced rescue techniques
- A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician working within a variety of industrial environments.
- Current first aid certification
- A valid drivers' license is preferred
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse team
- Ability to work productively in a variety of adverse conditions

A VALID STATE ISSUED CHAUFFEUR'S LICENSE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE AS WELL AS STATE OF MICHIGAN DIESEL OR MECHANIC CERTIFICATIONS; ASE Certifications are preferred as well. A Candidates resume must show previous applicable employment and licenses/certifications for Hiring Managers information as this will be the main basis of Candidate selection.
MDOT Medical Card certification is required and does include a Drug Test per Federal policy/regulations.
PAY RANGE FOR THIS ROLE IS $25 - $50 PER HOUR FOR EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES. CANDIDATES THAT WILL REQUIRE TRAINING MAY BE OFFERED A LOWER STARTING RATE OF PAY.
HOWEVER, WE MAY BE WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE!
Here's what you'd do:
Responsible for completing repairs and maintenance on an extensive fleet of specialized trucks and heavy equipment used for snow and ice removal.
You'd be responsible for:
+ IN FIELD/ON-SITE Repair and maintenance of heavy equipment including wheel loaders, dozers, graders, skid steers, agricultural tractors and much more.
+ Repair, maintenance, and annual inspections of on road vehicles and equipment including semi-trucks, semi-trailers, class 8 salt trucks, municipal plow trucks, and one-ton pickup trucks.
+ IN FIELD/ON-SITE Maintenance and repair of industry specific items such as snowplows, salt spreaders and brine equipment.
You might be a good fit if you have:
+ Three to Five years' experience in diesel mechanics with some on-site/field or mobile mechanic experience
+ Mechanic Certification (state, ASE, or from a technical school) preferred but not required
+ Welding & Fabrication Experience
+ Knowledge and understanding of both hydraulic and air brake systems
+ Understanding of hydraulic systems and plumbing
+ Diagnostic skills with strength in electrical, hydraulic, and drivability issues
+ Ability to read and understand electrical circuit diagrams
+ Proficient with computer (scanner) for diagnostics
