- Manage planning, organization, and completion of projects within area of assigned responsibility.

The Process Improvement Engineer is a hybrid role ideal for individuals who thrive on solving operational challenges through data analysis and structured communication. This position blends floor-based observation with office-based reporting and is responsible for leading projects that enhance manufacturing safety, efficiency, quality, and compliance. Success in this role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in tools like Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to influence change through continuous improvement initiatives and capital project support.
**This is a full-time on-site salaried position, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm**
**Please Note:** To meet business needs, this role may require weekend work and hours outside of normal work schedule.

**The Role**
+ Develop systems to identify and measure key performance indicators (uptime, downtime, scrap, yield)
+ Identify key site capacity constraints and provides timely solutions to resolve
+ Manage continuous improvement project pipeline to prioritize projects in relation to cost, benefit, and effort
+ Develop and present performance metrics and project updates to leadership
+ Uses Lean Six Sigma tools to measure, understand, and improve process variability and efficiency
+ Under the direction of site leadership, prioritizes capital projects for improving site performance and efficiency (safety, cost, quality)
+ Guides the specification and selection of process, utility, and facility equipment to support site needs
+ Ensures all design and construction work complies to cGMP guidelines, as applicable
+ Other duties as assigned
**The Candidate**
+ Must have High school diploma with 5 years manufacturing experience and 1 year in a leadership or continuous improvement role **OR**
+ Bachelor's degree with 3 years manufacturing experience and 6 months in a leadership or continuous improvement role **OR**
+ Master's degree with 2 years manufacturing experience **OR**
+ Doctoral degree with no experience required
+ Proficient in English verbal and written communication skills to convey and receive ideas and instructions to/from others within and outside the organization
+ Ability to work well with cross functional teams
