+ Carry out a broad range of industrial hygiene assessments, including air monitoring for chemical exposures, noise evaluations, and indoor air quality (IAQ) testing.
+ Develop and implement EHS/IH programs such as written plans, employee training, and emergency procedures.
+ Prepare clear and detailed reports summarizing methods, results, and recommendations for both clients and regulatory agencies.
+ Conduct site audits, safety inspections, and process reviews to identify potential risks before they become issues.

**Who You Are**
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
+ Current CIH credential required.
+ 5-7 years of professional industrial hygiene or EHS experience, ideally in consulting or a similar fast-paced environment.
+ Strong understanding of OSHA standards as well as NYS and NYC EHS requirements.
+ Strong writing ability, effective verbal communication, solid data analysis, and critical thinking skills.
+ Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites within the NYC/NYS metro region.
+ Ability to perform fieldwork that includes walking for extended periods, working in various site conditions, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
+ CSP or CHMM certification.

**Responsibilities**
+ **Hazard Identification & Assessment**
+ Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices.
+ Conduct surveys and field measurements to detect chemical, biological, physical, and ergonomic hazards.
+ Use specialized instruments (e.g., air sampling devices, noise meters, radiation monitors) to measure exposure levels.
+ **Risk Mitigation**
+ Develop and implement strategies to control or eliminate occupational health hazards.
+ Recommend operational changes and protective measures.
+ Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
+ **Compliance & Reporting**
+ Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local health and safety regulations.
+ Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining findings and recommendations.
+ Maintain accurate records of assessments and corrective actions.
+ **Training & Education**
+ Conduct health and safety training sessions for employees.

Certifications:

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will oversee the functionality of projects under their assignment. Duties include accomplishing project objectives by performing direct field work, report preparation, and quality assurance.
- Maintain certifications and licenses.
- Manage the day-to-day operational, functional, and customer service aspects of assigned projects.
- Perform direct fieldwork including site investigation, sampling, project meetings, and related activities.
- Prepare and maintain all project documentation including but not limited to field notes, site photos and plans, sample chain of custody forms, reports, drawings, regulatory forms and filings, scopes of work, operations and maintenance programs, contractor bid materials, and project correspondence.
- Assist in the creation and monitoring of project work plans to ensure technical efficacy and the timely completion of tasks and submission of deliverables.
