This job is responsible for complex tax planning, advisory, forecasting, and compliance activities. Key responsibilities include complying with complex tax reporting requirements for various government jurisdictions, researching complex tax issues, developing effective tax optimization strategies, and providing business unit support to business partners on complex issues. **The Opportunity**
The Chief Financial Office Future Leaders Program is designed to develop entry level talent to be the future generation of leaders for the organization through meaningful projects and team assignments, senior leader exposure, and professional development opportunities within the Chief Financial Office (CFO) at USAA. The program is a 2-year rotational program where participants will rotate through a series of meaningful and outstanding assignments. Each assignment will be approximately 12 months in length but may vary based on division and business needs. Throughout the rotation, participants can expect to enhance their business and CFO acumen, leadership skills, gain exposure to key CFO areas and disciplines, get along with executive leaders, and receive frequent developmental feedback. **What you'll do:**
+ Applies proficient functional knowledge to propose solutions and support varying CFO assignments and projects.
+ Assists with program specific projects and initiatives and serves in a support capacity on cross functional teams.
+ Under direct supervision, supports forecasting/planning process and model improvement initiatives for a business area or expense category.
+ Compiles and analyzes data to develop financial reports and analysis/cost benefit analysis to aid internal and external management decision-making.
+ Researches and organizes data regarding product assignment, product pricing, product profitability and ad-hoc analysis.
+ Develops workforce planning process knowledge to build strong internal customer relationships with key POC's and business leaders to define and understand strategic workforce objectives.
+ Follows documented procedures for facilitation of workforce planning process and escalates any identified issues to senior analyst or leadership positions for path of resolution.
+ Applies and integrates basic-level analysis, workforce metrics, and reporting to develop strategic and operational insights for workforce decision-making.
+ Utilizes basic knowledge of multiple data structures and sources to support the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions, which may include data visualization, business intelligence, data transformation, or data collection.
+ Communicates with banks as necessary and performs security administration tasks for various bank platforms and treasury management system.
+ Performs research and analysis of bank account invoices and resolves discrepancies.

**Job Description:**
This job is responsible for testing data controls and verification of completeness and accuracy of transaction-level data across the Company's Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief People Officer (CPO), and Legal coverage areas. Typically works on projects of moderate to high complexity that would involve learning (regulatory requirements, business models, processes) on each new assignment.
Candidates will work directly with Audit leadership with specialization and subject matter expertise in the areas assigned. Balance Sheet Management (BSM) is a division within the CFO Group responsible for providing executive management with accurate and timely analysis of the balance sheet, net interest income (NII), and non-interest income across Actuals and Forecast. Information generated by this team provides the framework which allows the company to position its balance sheet consistent with its risk appetite and expectations for changes in interest rates. BSM maintains close partnerships with various groups across the enterprise, providing key input to critical processes and strategic decisions. Coordination with Global Risk, Model Risk, Funding Managers, and other Treasury teams facilitates strategic ALM decisions within a controlled framework.
The Interest Rate Analytics (IRA) team is responsible for daily, monthly, and quarterly monitoring of the bank's balance sheet positioning as well as ad hoc analytics to support decision making across Treasury. The IRA team starts with the Bank's spot data position and baseline forecast, then applies a variety of interest rate shocks - both parallel and non-parallel - to quantify and report the Bank's IRR. The interest rate scenarios are largely focused on +/-100 basis points (bps) shocks, however, larger, and smaller shocks are also modeled, analyzed, and reported. The Bank has established risk limits for each metric across the various interest rate shocks, both at the Risk Appetite and non-risk appetite levels.

Willis Towers Watson's Captive Solutions team delivers customized, data-driven insurance management services across Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB), Human Capital and Benefits (HCB), and Investment, Risk and Reinsurance (IRR). As part of this highly specialized group, the Account Executive is responsible for managing a portfolio of captive insurance companies by providing strategic, operational, and financial oversight tailored to each client's unique risk profile.
Reporting to senior leadership and working closely with clients, regulators, and service providers, the Account Executive plays a critical role in shaping underwriting strategy, ensuring regulatory and financial compliance, and delivering timely, high-quality board and management reporting. The role also contributes to new business development by identifying growth opportunities, supporting marketing initiatives, and offering expert technical guidance.
The ideal candidate brings at least 15 years of experience in captive insurance and financial services, with deep knowledge of insurance accounting, products, and problem resolution. Strong leadership, project management, and client relationship skills are essential, along with the ability to provide strategic insight, influence stakeholders, and uphold the highest standards of compliance and corporate governance.

**The Role**
**New Business**
+ To assist in the development of new business for the Company
+ Give input to the creation of a marketing and new business strategy.
+ Implement marketing and new business strategy.
+ Identify new business opportunities (including cross-selling opportunities) within existing client base.
+ Take responsibility for a number of new business development projects.
+ Promote the Company within and outside the Willis Group.
+ To provide technical advice on request within the Practice.
**Insurance**
+ Liaison with insurance broker and reinsurance brokers as required.
+ Underwriting decisions in conjunction with the Client Service Team and the Practice Underwriting resources, as appropriate.
+ Monitoring of exposures and risk transfer pricing within assigned portfolio.
+ Oversee regulatory approval for changes to the business plan.
+ Oversee Board approval for underwriting decisions.
**Finance/Regulatory**
+ Monitoring of domicile solvency and capital requirements
+ Obtaining regulatory approval of changes to business plan
+ Obtaining board approval for underwriting decisions
+ Accounting for premium
+ Agree reserving methodology
+ Ensure the production of management accounts, statutory accounts and information, budgets, cash flow statements and supplementary information as required.
+ Assist with the adoption of appropriate accounting practices and ensure adherence thereto.
+ Manage cash requirements of the companies
+ Liaise with and monitor investment managers in respect of invested funds
+ Assist Client Service Team with co-ordination of board meetings
+ Ensure timely production of board papers.
+ Ensure timely production of minutes and review prior to distribution.
+ Action matters arising from client meetings
+ Ensure relevant company secretarial functions are performed in a timely manner.

**Management**
+ To participate in and provide input on strategic and major operational issues. Assume responsibility for a specific area of company strategy.

+ Contact is maintained with all client directors and that they are advised of any developments.

+ Entertain clients & prospects as required.

**Qualifications**
**The Requirements**
+ 4 year degree in Accounting, Finance or related area or CPA qualification
+ Maintenance of CPA qualification through CPD, as appropriate
+ Advanced Computer Skills
+ In depth knowledge and experience of captive insurance and insurance industry (minimum 15 years' experience) in the following areas: (1) accounting for captives (2) insurance products, and (3) problem resolution

**Compensation and Benefits**
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation.
**Compensation**
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $100,000-$140,000 USD per year.
This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
