Strategic Alliances Manager
Job Description:
Join Sage as a Strategic Alliances Manager and help grow our ecosystem of technology providers and accounting consultants! You'll build and manage high-impact partnerships, identify new alliance opportunities, and work closely with our sales team to drive revenue. In this role, you'll also lead joint marketing initiatives and represent Sage at industry events, helping shape the future of finance transformation. We're looking for someone with proven experience in partner or alliance management-ideally in finance transformation, digital transformation, or technology vendor ecosystems-who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
This is a Hybrid role based on-site three days per week in our Atlanta, GA office at Ponce City Market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead marketing and outreach efforts to engage potential partners, including consultants, advisors, and value-added resellers (VARs)
- Design and implement a scalable, tiered partnership framework to support growth
- Expand the partner program to accelerate new customer acquisition and drive top-line revenue for Sage
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to support pipeline development and partner-influenced opportunities
- Partner cross-functionally to identify and accelerate net-new business through strategic alliances and partner-driven deals
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years' experience in either software, technology, or consulting industry
- Prior experience in partner or alliance management
- Strong cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed environment
- Extensive experience usingSalesforce.com, PowerPoint, Excel
- Proven track record of overperforming quota or objectives
- Approximately 25% travel required

**Job Overview**
In this role the Partner GTM Senior Manager for our Enterprise Sales Segment and will be responsible for driving partner GTM activities in our most strategic accounts with our most strategic partners.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ **_Partner Strategy:_** Work with first and second line sales and CSG leaders to build, implement and drive a partner GTM strategy specific to the Strategic Account segment.
+ **_Go-to-Market Collaboration:_** Collaborate with Partner Development teams to action partner sales plays, offerings and industry solutions to the field sales and CSG teams
+ **_Partner Engagement:_** Identify, establish, and nurture key relationships at every level of a strategic partner organization.
+ **_Relationship Management:_** Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within partner organizations, ensuring alignment of objectives and mutual success.
+ **_Sales Enablement:_** Work closely with the sales team to develop and deliver training, tools, and resources to ensure effective GTM motion with partners.
+ **_Market Intelligence:_** Stay informed about industry trends, evolving partner capabilities, regulatory changes, and shifts in the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and risks.
+ **_Performance Reporting & Stakeholder Cadences:_** Provide effective and timely internal and external communication and coordination of PagerDuty's performance against the partnership's stated goals and initiatives. Including progress to goal, program/initiative effectiveness, investment strategies. Conduct regular cadence between partner and PagerDuty stakeholders (Partner Development, Sales, CSG partner )
+ **_Event Participation:_** Represent PagerDuty at public sector events, conferences, and industry forums to promote our solutions and expand our network.
**Basic Qualifications**
+ **_5+ Years Experience:_**
1. Supporting Strategic Enterprise sales organizations in a Partner Sales role
2. In a Business Development or Ecosystem Sales for a GSI or large RSI
+ **_Industry Knowledge:_** Deep understanding of contemporary partnering models, methodologies and GTM approaches. Deep understanding of the benefits and relative value of various routes to market. Working knowledge of basic contracting, technical documentation and marketing techniques. Understanding of offering creation, marketing, lead generation and professional services organization key performance indicators **_Relationship Building:_** Proven ability to build and maintain positive, trusting, working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders all while delivering results in a highly complex, matrixed global organization.
+ **_Strategic Thinking:_** High degree of natural curiosity. Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive partnership strategies. High tolerance for ambiguity with the ability to execute in a changing environment and get work done.
+ **_Communication Skills:_** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior executives.
+ **_Leadership & Collaboration:_** Proven ability to build, collaborate, lead and execute strategy in a cross-functional environment. Significant experience working with sales, marketing, product, and legal teams.

The base salary range for this position is 126,000 - 193,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.
