Zip-Pak is the global leader in resealable solutions for the flexible packaging industry. We operate in more than 52 countries around the world with a workforce of more than 270 dedicated flexible packaging professionals.
The Channel Manager is responsible for developing and leading the Channel Sales Team to drive sustainable growth across North America. He/she will drive growth by partnering with the '80'(Strategic) customers to understand their needs and effectively close sales. Build and execute strategic plans with Converters, Distributors, OEM's, and Film producers to position the Company for success over the long-range plan through growth of our '80' (Top 20%) product lines with our '80' (Top 20%) customers. He/She will focus on eliminating complexity within the channel to lead a growth focus. The Channel Manager will be based in Carol Stream, IL. He/She will report to the Global Sales Director of Zip-Pak. This individual will have a team of 3 direct reports and the responsibility of our North American Distributors.
**Responsibilities**
+ **Build and Lead a High-Performing Sales Team** Continuously evaluate team performance and customer relationships to optimize resource planning, with a focus on the "80" customers. Provide coaching and development, and partner with Human Resources to recruit top talent as needed to support business growth.
+ **Drive Revenue Across Key Markets** Lead Zip-Pak's business across Converter, Distributor, OEM, and Film end markets in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new customers and exceed revenue and margin targets.
+ **Champion the Company's Value Proposition** Take a lead role in identifying, delivering, and enhancing the company's value proposition within the sales channel.
+ **Leverage the ITW FTB 80/20 Business Model** Build expertise in applying the ITW FTB 80/20 model to strategically lead sales efforts and drive sustainable growth.
+ **Develop Market-Driven Sales Strategies** Create and refine sales strategies based on customer feedback and market dynamics. Collaborate with Marketing and Innovation to identify growth opportunities and set the strategic direction by market.
+ **Foster Key Customer Relationships** Build strong, personal relationships with key "80" customers to drive customer-back innovation and deliver differentiated products, services, and collaborative solutions.
+ **Collaborate Across Functions** Work closely with peers and cross-functional teams to drive channel, brand, and sales growth while improving margins.
+ **Utilize Data-Driven Insights** Analyze data to meet sales targets, understand competitive business models, benchmark products, and align offerings with market needs. Execute strategic business plans accordingly.
**Education and Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering or related field required; Master's degree or MBA preferred
+ At least 10 years of sales management experience, with concentration in commercial markets/channels
+ Proven business acumen with a strategic mindset
+ Packaging experience is a plus
**Skills and Qualifications**
+ Must be able to travel up to 50% of time
+ Must exhibit consistent behaviors: Leadership, accountability, teamwork, delivering through others, consumer/customer focus
+ Excellent communication skills (both internally, across VP/GM & directors, and externally with customer senior management), including professional presentation skills
+ Collaborative team player and leader. Ability to work cross-functionally all levels of the organization
**Compensation Information:**
The salary range for this position is $125,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually with bonus potential. The pay rate for a successful candidate will depend on the geographic location, this salary range is for a successful candidate in the Chicago, Illinois Metro area. The specific hiring rate within the posted range will depend on the candidate's qualifications and prior experience.

**Qualifications & Experience:**
+ **Experience:** 8+ years in international business development, global sales, and/or channel management with a strong focus on revenue growth through existing partnerships.
+ **Industry Knowledge:** Experience in healthcare and software preferred.
+ **Proven Channel Sales Expertise:** Demonstrated success in managing and growing revenue through established distributors, resellers, and international partners.
+ **Strategic & Data-Driven:** Ability to analyze performance data and develop actionable strategies to maximize partner sales.
+ **Strong Relationship Builder:** Ability to foster long-term, productive relationships with key international partners.
+ **Negotiation & Contract Management:** Experience optimizing existing channel agreements and driving improved revenue outcomes.
+ **Cultural Acumen:** Experience working across diverse cultural and regulatory environments.
+ **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Business, International Relations, or related field (MBA preferred).
+ **Travel:** 30-50%; including ability to travel internationally as required.

Rubrik is looking for a Channel Sales Engineer to cover key regional and national partners in the central US. As a Sales Engineer you are accountable for regional revenue goals by driving innovative technical programs and overseeing day-to-day account-level activities. You will be responsible for evangelizing, positioning, and architecting the industry's first hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management platform for a mix of mid-market and small business customers throughout your region.
**About the position:**
+ Provides technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff in the development of fully integrated technology solutions in support of pre-sales activities in the assigned market.
+ Assists in the analysis, design and development of fully integrated technology solutions.
+ Demonstrates technical leadership and subject matter expertise on Rubrik's products, distributed architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings in the SAN product space.
+ Acts as technical expert and consultant to develop and propose solutions that meet the technology and business requirements of assigned customers.
+ Makes technical and sales presentations and demonstrations to our channel partners' and customers' technical staff and senior management.
+ Serves as a trusted technology advisor to customers and serves as an internal resource on technical issues or specific business applications within an assigned market segment.
+ Successfully builds relationships with the account team, partners and customers in support of sales team objectives and engages and leverages corporate resources, abilities, budgets and personnel as appropriate.
+ Leads technical sales calls
+ Qualifies sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding.
**About you:**
+ 2+ years of sales engineering experience preferably in a software or data center environment.
+ Driven - need for success, highly energetic with a strong hands-on, "can do" approach.
+ The successful candidate must have a fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery and data analytics.
+ Entrepreneurial - willing to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourceful, "get it done" attitude
+ Strives in moving in a fast-paced environment; including handling multiple calls/demos per day with immediate follow up.
+ A high level of business acumen and experience working with Cx0 level personnel, bringing technology solutions to solve business challenges.
+ Smart, adaptable and open-minded
+ Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
