Job Summary
The position is responsible for driving Implementation and supporting projects and other Network Engineers in their day-to-day operational activities as each person will bring their unique skill sets with them to the organization. This position is a direct report to the Technology Group Product Manager with understanding of business goals, business processes, and technology expertise in these areas.
This position is responsible for configuring, testing, implementing and supporting software, hardware and systems. This position work closely with Sr. Network Engineers and Architects that drive the analysis and physical design of technical solutions. Implementation involves creating new technology based solutions whereas support involves upgrades, maintenance or issue resolution to existing technology solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Provide network implementation and consulting for data and converged communications infrastructure based largely on Cisco equipment.
While performing this role the candidate will be responsible for:

Perform network-engineering tasks such as assessing and implementing firewall rules, establishing VPNs with partner companies, routing & switching and implementing access control lists, evaluating and installing software upgrades on network and security equipment.

Core BTS seeks a Network Engineer to maintain the daily operations of the computer network and perform technical duties relating to the installation, configuration and management of network operating system software and communications hardware. Primary duties include:
- Cisco Administration and Support: Route/Switch and other related Cisco products, and Cisco hardware
- Working knowledge of Cisco ISE and Firepower
- Recommends, plans, develops and implements network configuration changes and/or upgrades to maintain appropriate levels of service to user community
- Operates the control console(s) of network systems to monitor performance, resolve problems and upgrade systems

A combination of education and experience in computer networking or related field and working knowledge in the following areas is required:

SUMMARY
This position will be called upon to represent the Global Technology & Operations organizations by internal and external organizations. An individual in this position is responsible for making production systems more reliable by performing day-to-day operations including system monitoring, troubleshooting, problem identification, resolution, and restoral following established and documented procedures and with minimal direction.

About You
The Senor Network Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the FlexTrade’s network infrastructure is well architected and runs smoothly. Advanced networking knowledge of EIGRP/OSPF/BGP routing, L2 switching (Port-channel, vPC), and Firewalls
