The Director, Procurement Partner is the leader responsible for developing and driving the Procurement vision with key colleagues in the division. The individual will be a key partner to the divisional business leaders with a focus on strategy, execution and implementation. Deliver on key objectives (Annual Operating Plan - AOP), delivery, quality, service, cost, innovation, and growth commitments for Division Procurement
Coordinate long range strategies with the business partners across the Division and implement plans
Partners with Category Managers, R&D, Engineering to deliver annual value improvements and drives competitive advantage
Partner with Supply Chain to create demand plans for supplier partners
Work closely with Shared Service and Procure to Pay (P2P) process team to ensure efficient end to end delivery models
Responsible for the coordination of business projects and programs (e.g., M&A integration, make or buy, vendor transition, CSR), monitoring execution and communicating results to senior leaders
Ensure alignment with business colleagues within the Group and Division on projects
Serve as the point of contact and ensure the implementation of Enterprise Processes such as Supplier Quality, Supplier Risk and Supplier Management
Technical Responsibilities
Gather Division business requirements and assures compliance to regulatory requirements
Engage with Supplier Partners, ensuring capacity to meet demand and works with Category Management to close gaps
Drive and track compliance for indirect materials, as well as link with Global team for policies and procedures
Use 'scouting approach' to influence R&D and Commercial partners earlier in NPI process, monitor product pipeline (LCM), support product platforming
Serve as point of contact for critical Procurement issues within the Division, work with Category Management to resolve problems
Consolidate, analyze and report on divisional procurement metrics for business reviews
Leadership Responsibilities
Provides division input to category strategies (Global, Group specific) and support implementation of aligned strategies
Engage with supplier leadership (Vice President, General Managers, President, Functional and Operations Leaders) to solve business problems and assure alignment with Thermo Fisher objectives
Develop and assess purchasing talent and improve resource productivity and professionalism
Mentors and develops staff through coaching and development plans to address individual areas of improvement
Implements talent initiatives to improve Employee Involvement Survey results
Drive the development and implementation of common processes, standardized practices, use of tools and technologies that can scaled company wide

Education
A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Materials Management, Procurement, Business Logistics or a related area or equivalent experience; MBA preferred

**Who We Are**
We are a motivated team that conducts transdisciplinary research exploring factors linked with health and risk behavior in regard to recreational and medicinal Cannabis use, anxiety, pain management, memory, and cognition. This position is well suited for a Ph.D. graduate pursuing a research career in cognitive science, psychology, neuroscience, translational human participant research, or other clinical or biomedical research.
**What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be**
Expected responsibilities:
+ We seek a full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate to aid with NIH-funded studies, including ERP studies of acute influences of THC and CBD on memory encoding and retrieval processes and clinical trials focused on biobehavioral health outcomes, such as substance use, pain, anxiety, sleep, and immune markers.
+ Primary responsibilities include the supervision, design, implementation, analysis, and publication of EEG and clinically relevant data.
+ The postdoctoral research associate will be responsible for coordinating with the Pl and investigative team in order to manage the collection of behavioral and biological data, correspondence with the IRB regarding updates and amendments to relevant protocols, and supervision and training of research staff.
+ The postdoctoral research associate will work closely with the PI to ensure data quality control and the assurance of data safety and monitoring, and in this role will assist the PI to conduct quarterly meetings with the external Data Safety and Monitoring Board.
+ Support for grant writing, data management and analysis, and manuscript preparation will also be expected.
+ Specifically, it is expected that the postdoctoral research associate will take a lead role in analyzing data, preparing data for presentation at professional conferences, and will collaborate with the PI and Co-Investigators to submit manuscripts for publication.
