As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a chemical or petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols of assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. **What You'll Do:**
+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions in a chemical or petrochemical environment.
+ Monitor access points and check identification to help to deter unauthorized entry.
+ Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as necessary.
+ Remain alert to potential hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical locations and follow all site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Product Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting LaMotte's chemical reagent products and services, providing technical support for those products, and assisting customers in understanding the applications and uses of our products. Job Responsibilities:

• Product Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of our chemical reagents, including their properties, applications, and regulatory requirements.

• Customer Support: Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers via phone, email, and chat regarding product selection, usage, and safety protocols.

• Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to help inform product development and marketing strategies.

• Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide product knowledge during customer presentations and assist in the development of sales materials.

• Documentation: Prepare and maintain product documentation, including data sheets, safety information, and application notes.

• Problem Solving: Address customer inquiries and issues related to product performance, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.

Miscellaneous:

• Participates in lean activities, including but not limited to:

o Lean training and lean events such as kaizen or a 5-day event.

o 5-S program in department or other areas assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Education: Preferred bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience: 2+ years of experience as a product specialist, technical support, or similar role within the chemical industry.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of chemical reagents, their properties, and applications in various industries (e.g., pharmaceuticals, research, manufacturing).

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.

• Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with CRM tools is a plus.

Environmental Factors & Mental/Physical Demands:

Primarily works indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a chemical and petrochemical location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding to situations as they arise. You will also interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
**What You'll Do:**
+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the location, including both the business premises and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
+ Monitor for irregular or suspicious activity, and report observations according to established protocols.
+ Maintain awareness of potential hazards and risks present in a chemical and petrochemical environment, and communicate concerns to the appropriate personnel.
+ Document patrol activities and incident responses in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
+ Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed during emergencies and/or incidents.

**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
+ A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Willingness to be on-call for plant area support when required.
