The Parks Alliance of Louisville seeks a strategic, compassionate, and influential leader to serve as its next President & Chief Executive Officer. The next CEO will steward a community-driven vision, leading with resilience and persistence to realize vibrant parks for all of Louisville. As the citywide parks nonprofit, the Parks Alliance of Louisville drives equitable investment in our public parks to improve the health & wellbeing of our entire community. Louisville residents rely on their parks—and they want to see them thrive. The Alliance supports more than a hundred of Louisville Metro’s public parks, advocates for increased investment in the park system, educates community leaders on the social, economic, health, and environmental advantages of parks, and raises capital for priority projects. The President & CEO will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the organization, serving as the public face and ambassador, responsible for building the brand, advocating for increased park investment, and diversifying philanthropic revenue streams. The ideal candidate is a charismatic and empathetic relationship-builder with a proven track record of executive leadership, combining determination, resilience, operational excellence, and an inclusive, action-driven approach to work. They should bring heart and strategic clarity to champion equity and community impact for Louisville’s parks.
Base pay range$140,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr
Compensation and benefitsThis is a full-time, exempt, benefit-eligible position. The CEO’s estimated annual salary range is $1 0,000 to 160,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits include:
