As a Vice President within the Risk Management team, you will collaborate with various business units, corporate treasury, and other risk divisions to gather, comprehend, analyze, and infer potential liquidity risk implications within the firm's operations. You will be responsible for continuously evaluating emerging risks to the firm's liquidity by monitoring the evolving short-term funding markets and presenting your findings to senior management.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Identify, assess, and monitor liquidity risks related to the firm's activities
+ Provide effective independent risk challenge and oversight on business units and liquidity management teams
+ Undertake analysis of balance sheet changes to assess liquidity risk impacts and provide risk view on day-to-day and longer-term changes in internal liquidity stress scenarios and regulatory prescribed liquidity scenarios (liquidity coverage ratio, net stable funding ratio)
+ Review liquidity forecasts to assess reasonableness and adequacy and to highlight issues and areas of improvement to Treasury and senior management
+ Monitor balance sheet through limits and indicators that are designed to control and monitor liquidity risk
+ Develop and present material for risk committees.
+ Fulfil regulatory requests pertaining to liquidity risk for independent risk management.
+ Articulate key evolving risks to senior management in easy to understand manner.
+ Be involved in second line review and challenge of requirements such as change management, user testing, data and controls review and other matters that impact liquidity risk for product coverage area
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
+ Minimum 7 years of experience in banking industry across treasury, liquidity risk, market risk and/or trading of fixed income products
+ Understanding of liquidity risk concepts and requirements. Understanding of balance sheet analysis for global banks across traditional banking and complex non-banking products
+ Understanding of the governance and controls surrounding risk monitoring including, stress testing, limits and indicators, and ongoing monitoring
+ Strong grasp of basic financial theory and accounting principles
+ Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related discipline required
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
+ Experience in Liquidity Risk management with a wide range of experience with quantitative, financial and risk management techniques & systems preferred
+ Experience with stress testing preferred
+ Deep understanding of product knowledge and how it impacts liquidity risks (e.g. deposits, prime brokerage, secured funding, derivatives etc) is a strong plus

Director of Data Protection - Technology Risk ManagementCyber Risk Management is a growing organization focused on providing expert advice, credible challenge, and effective oversight of information security and technology activities to identify, assess, control, and manage cyber risk throughout the company. Associates within the Cyber Risk Management organization are highly-skilled information security, cyber, technology, or risk management professionals who have a wealth of experience and a demonstrated ability to provide value-added recommendations and deliver high-impact results in their areas of expertise. This Director, Cybersecurity Risk will be accountable for establishing and leading Cyber Risk Management functions as related to specific domain(s) of cyber security. This individual will be accountable for the organization’s governance of cybersecurity risk domains by developing and implementing executive-level processes responsible for overseeing and managing cybersecurity risk. As part of the second line of defense, you will collaborate closely with leaders in Cyber, Technology, the Lines of Business, and other risk management offices to lead and oversee evaluations of the firm’s cybersecurity strategy and priorities and offer independent advice and recommendations regarding ways to further mature the firm’s cyber and risk management posture and cyber risk policies. In addition, you will lead the identification and analysis of new or emerging cybersecurity and technology risks to the enterprise as related to your accountable domain(s). As a leader within a growing organization, you will have the opportunity to shape and further refine your portfolio commensurate with the priorities of the organization and the firm, as well as influence the overall direction of Cyber Risk Management. Responsibilities: As part of a team, develop and implement processes to provide independent oversight and effective challenge of the firm’s cybersecurity priorities.Ensure effective governance by identifying, framing, and presenting risk topics to be discussed by senior management in enterprise cyber risk forums.Draft agendas, manage action items, and coordinate with stakeholders to develop a robust understanding of the risk posture as related to accountable cyber security domain(s).Advise and consult on the development and management of new cybersecurity policies, standards and procedures.Stay current on emerging cyber threats and potential implications to the firm as related to accountable cyber security domain(s). Collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and leaders across multiple organizations to achieve strategic objectives. Coordinate program-related activities and deliverables to ensure effective collaboration within the team and across stakeholder groups.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or military experienceAt least 4 years of experience in project managementAt least 8 years of experience in information security, information technology, or risk managementAt least 4 years of experience developing, evaluating, or implementing cybersecurity or technology governance structuresAt least 1 year of experience with cybersecurity policies or information technology policiesPreferred Qualifications:At least 4 years of experience developing presentations for senior level audiencesAt least 4 years of experience with analyzing emerging threats and reports that describe the implications of threat(s)Excellent verbal and written communication skills across levels of leadershipPassion and expertise in cybersecurity, with an ability to be confident, respectful, and articulate when registering dissenting or unpopular opinionsAbility to manage multiple projects while maintaining superior resultsAbility to work cross-functionally, individually, and to lead work among a teamExecution oriented and a self-motivatorProfessional security management certifications, such as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
