Position Summary:
The position of School-Based Occupational Therapist provides coordinated Occupational therapy to school-aged children. They plan, implement, and evaluate students to provide appropriate fine motor and/or sensory integration skills. They evaluate occupational roles and occupational performance of students with physical and/or cognitive impairments. They provide interventions based on student deficits and they collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Therapist (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT) with a specialization in child and adolescent therapy to lead and develop this new division. As the Head of Child and Adolescent Therapy, you will provide direct therapeutic services to young clients while also overseeing program development, ensuring a high standard of care, and mentoring fellow clinicians. Approximately 75% of this role will be client-facing, with the remaining 25% of the time dedicated to marketing, administration, and division development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of child and adolescent therapy services, creating a safe, nurturing, and effective therapeutic environment for young clients
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children, adolescents, and their families, tailoring treatment to the unique developmental needs of this population

Qualifications:

- Expertise in a range of therapeutic modalities for children and adolescents (e.g., play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems therapy).
- Strong ability to work with families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Leadership, mentorship, and program development experience.

+ Assist Manager of Care Coordination in supporting coverage for Request for Service line for new clients seeking behavioral services.
+ Screen and triage calls from families and referral sources seeking services.
+ Schedule intake and first treatment appointments, helping families identify and resolve potential impediments to keeping appointments at the scheduled time.
+ Maintain data for incoming referrals and collaborate with pediatricians and other community resources to maintain relationships and referrals.
+ Provide hands on assistance to families in accessing needed services and supports, while fostering their development of knowledge and skills to advocate more independently with community agencies, schools, etc.
+ Connect families to agency resources whenever a sliding scale fee is needed.
+ Represent CGC at in-person and virtual community events as assigned.
+ Actively participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning team meetings, supervision and other staff development activities.
+ Utilize the agency's electronic health record system to ensure proper and timely completion of clinical documentation, program statistics, and outcome data.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
Required Skills and Education
