Hardware Engineer
In this role, you would support all Bealls Inc.’s locations and their hardware-related needs. We lead and participate in overnight rollouts that lead to chain-wide upgrades, working with remote-techs via phone and sometimes directly, direct store management and personnel to troubleshoot existing equipment in the field, create and assist in testing new proof-of-concept devices, and work to maintain both local and vendor support inventory.
Responsibilities
- Become intimately familiar with all Bealls Inc. and their various hardware related needs.
- Configure and participate in new store and upgrade store processes.
- Support overnight rollouts involving chain wide upgrades, track progress and communicate with daytime management and support teams.
- Ticket Work:
- Work with remote techs to assist in installation and maintenance tasks.
- Remotely direct and guide store management in troubleshooting existing equipment in the field.
- Create and assist in testing new proof-of-concept devices.

Join our dynamic engineering team as a Hardware Engineer, where you will contribute to innovative projects and have the opportunity to take ownership of your work. We are looking for a motivated professional with a strong experience in hardware design and electrical engineering to enhance our team.
Responsibilities

Design and develop hardware components, ensuring high-quality output.

Perform circuit design, which is the most critical aspect of the role.

Conduct PCB layout as there is no dedicated layout team; hardware engineers are expected to manage their layouts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on project requirements.

Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Essential Skills
-
Proficiency in hardware design and electrical engineering.

Strong skills in circuit design, which is the most important aspect of this role.

Experience in PCB layout, as hardware engineers are responsible for their layouts.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with high-speed design is a plus.

Familiarity with Altium is beneficial but not mandatory.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $13000.00/yr.
