The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the utilization of the nursing process, nursing trends, technology, financial and human resources within the philosophy of the institution.

ResponsibilitiesPerforms all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service. Implements procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice. Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to assure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team.Completes initial assessment upon patient admission and develops appropriate plan of care in accordance with unit standards and that is based on patient and family needs. Implements plan of care, nursing interventions, and patient care procedures. Modifies plan of care based upon continuous evaluation.Takes responsibility for patient and employee safety by reporting and/or correcting safety hazards and incidents.Communicates with others directly and in private when necessary to resolve issues. Offers constructive feedback to assist in the professional development of peers, and confers with colleagues to expand knowledge base. Identifies own learning needs and takes initiative to begin appropriate solution.Fulfills all requirements of departmental competencies.Floats to various inpatient units including Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic, Advanced Care, and ICUs (if applicable). Conducts and documents assessments, nursing diagnoses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care Precept staff from various units as needed. POSITION OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Project Manager plays a key role in winning new business, management of projects and staff development. This individual will provide engineering and business leadership, as well as oversight to ensure the successful delivery of work to our customers. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring expectations are clearly communicated and managed - both externally and internally. The successful candidate will also create a dynamic team environment by mentoring and coaching colleagues, clear and frequent communication, and fostering a highly collaborative working environment. This person will also actively support the business development process through the writing of proposals and meeting with prospective and current customers, thereby clearly articulating KFI's value proposition and unique differentiators.
Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Oversee projects in the department to assure that KFI quality, customer satisfaction and financial objectives are met.
- Actively manages assigned projects, driving them to completion. This will require a combination of strong delegation and follow-up, combined with personal execution of work as needed.
- Allocates department resources to assure effective utilization and development of staff.
- Ensures that new opportunities are properly defined, scoped, and priced.
- Actively contributes to all aspects of the business development process (i.e., proposals, conferences, and customer meetings).
- Actively participates in monthly Marketing meetings.
- Ensures the development and coaching of the talent needed to meet current and future organization goals.
- Supervises staff, provides overall direction, and facilitates goal setting and performance reviews. Conducts weekly one-on-one meetings with staff.
- Provides technical and engineering support to other departments/disciplines.
- Reviews invoices, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of billing activity.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 10+ years of professional engineering and project leadership experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without the need for work sponsorship now or in the future.
- Demonstrated strong proficiency in mechanical design as a core discipline.
- Strong interpersonal skills to enable effective development and leadership of Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers.
- Superior project management skills and knowledge of related tools and processes.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Maturity and self-confidence to work with senior business leaders and customers.
- Ability to assimilate a range of ideas, programs, or alternatives into a set of recommendations.
- Basic understanding of Architectural, Electrical, Civil and Structural Engineering construction practices.
- Represent the company in a professional matter.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of computer technology and specific areas of application, including MS Office.
- Travel: May include up to 25% domestic travel.
