**PCB Design Supervisor**

CW is looking for a seasoned PCB designer to Develop and release complex PCBs in an R&D Environment. Candidates must be able to work as a team with internal or external third-party designers. **Your Challenge:**
+ Generate PCB CAD layout design data to meet product requirements.
+ Aid checking completed design layouts and drawings to certify standards, procedures, specifications, manufacturability and accuracy of physical dimensions.
+ Conduct Comprehensive design reviews with engineering and manufacturing teams to design completion, which confirm to costs and requirements.
+ Plan and execute PCB design Tasks in accordance to project schedules.
+ Participate in PCB Product Failure analysis and provide Insite and/or recommendations to engineering teams.
+ Release completed designs into CW Document Control System (Agile). Assure Released Documents conform to standards.
**What you Bring:**
+ Associate of Science (AS) degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
+ Minimum 5 Years experience routing mixed signal, high-speed digital, analog and low power high current designs in high reliability environments.
+ Must Have extensive knowledge experience designing high-density interconnect (HDI), including dense double-sided PCBs with 26+ layer/Mult lamination rigid Blind/Buried Via with uVia Structures.
+ Solid Command Experience using Siemens Expedition (PCB) as well as Siemens Expedition DX Designer (SCH) tools.
+ Able to generate parts for the PCB environment and update/ maintain libraries, control integration to SCH files.
+ Able to generate Fabrication drawings per ASME and CW standards.
+ Understanding of IPC-600, 610 6012 and 7351 industry standards.
+ Proficient in Microsoft office: Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting ideas and information to peer tears.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks while meeting deadline in high pressure environment, ability to drive to result and hold self-accountable to continuously improve skills.
+ Self-starter with ability to work though ambiguity and evolving project requirements.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilize existing systems or provide approved interfaces to monitor the operational state and performance of circuits, network equipment, and systems.

• Responsible for performing circuit activation, upgrades, & deactivations related to telecommunications service orders.

• Responsible for the design and delivery of secure voice, video, and data communicationsnetworks. Also responsible for the timely updating of related Circuit and configuration management tools such as Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADSS) and local Circuit Activation database.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation including locations, MAC addresses, serial numbers, warranty information, and deployment details.

• Activate, change, upgrade, deactivate trunks, links, and circuits in accordance with DISA TSOs or regulatory guidance as directed by higher levels of control and submits applicable reports to include delayed service, exception, and in-effect reports.

• Provide site survey and related data for various projects involving installation of outside plant for media connections, connectivity on and off the Pentagon reservation, and outlying/remote dedicated Circuits.

• Provide circuit activations, modifications, upgrades, or deactivations to accommodate customers' voice, video, and data requirements.

• Perform necessary corrective maintenance actions to restore failed circuits or services back to operational status.

• Perform Test and Acceptance on all trunks, links, circuits, and equipment using assigned parameter codes.

• Maintain system diagrams for all links, trunks, circuits, and systems in the TCFs and theservicing facilities.

• Ensure equipment, cables, patch bays, or other circuit access points are labeled appropriately.

• Coordinate the installation of government circuits with the Defense Information SystemsAgency, local users, and associated commercial vendors.

**The Opportunity**
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
+ Function as a technical Lead substation design engineer for FACTS projects involving (distribution, sub transmission and transmission level voltage classes)
+ Utilize resources available for safety and regulatory standards (IEEE, IEC, NEC, NESC, NERC, ISO/RTO) to effectively define project requirements, review project deliverables (physical, P&C, power system design) and collaborate with owner and OEM resources (subject matter experts, internal engineering, and project management).
+ Work on other aspects of design that are non-standard for substation engineers, so the person should be willing to conduct research to locate required white papers, brochures, publications, or standards and bring themselves up to speed.
+ Convey technical information to the project team, which may include stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
