THE HIGH LEVEL
The Solutions Architect is a mission-driven technical leader within Iron Bow's Engagement Engineering team, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise network solutions. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Post-Sales Solution Execution
- Design, implement, and validate advanced and complex networking solutions.
- Translate high-level architectures and customer requirements into high-level designs (HLDs), low-level designs (LLDs), configuration templates, and implementation plans.
- Lead technical delivery engagements, including installation, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and cutover support.
Pre-Sales Enablement Support
- Collaborate with the CTO Office, CSEs, and capture teams to validate technical approaches, refine architectures, and contribute to SoWs, BOMs, and LoE estimates.
- Participate in technical review cycles for proposals, offering delivery-based insights.
Technical Documentation & Quality Control
- Produce and maintain high-quality documentation, including HLD/LLDs, implementation guides, testing procedures, as-built documentation, and customer runbooks.
- Participate in internal peer reviews, providing and receiving feedback to improve consistency, quality, and reusability of technical work products.
- Support internal Quality Control processes and contribute to the development of reusable templates, configuration baselines, and delivery standards.
Mentorship & Growth
- Work under the guidance of the Technical Director to align delivery with architectural intent, customer expectations, and engineering team strategy.
- Mentor engagement engineers and serve as a technical lead within delivery teams, especially on complex or cross-vendor implementations.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- 8-12 years of experience in enterprise networking architecture, engineering, or consulting roles.

The ideal candidate for the Network Solutions Architect position will have experience with the design, configuration and hands-on implementation of security and data center networking infrastructure. Technologies being supported include software-defined data center networking such as Cisco ACI and traditional Cisco Nexus OS architectures. Security infrastructure experience supporting edge, segmentation, Palo Alto SD-WAN and VPN use cases with hardware such as Fortinet, Meraki and Cisco is also desired.
YOUR IMPACT
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our customers to develop secure network architectures, meeting needs for performance, reliability and innovation.
- Design, implement and troubleshoot software-defined network (SDWAN, including Palo Alto SD-WAN) architectures such as Cisco ACI and traditional NX-OS architectures such as vPC, OTV, etc.
- Develop secure network architectures and designs that will allow business requirements to be met with a minimal degree of risk with the appropriate security controls present.

POSITION SPECIFICS
The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $120,000 and $170,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, our compensation package may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.

- 7+ years of experience in deploying/diagnosing the following protocols & functions: IP, TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S, VLANs, MPLS, IPSEC, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRF, VxLAN, RPKI, eVPN, VRRP, MLAG, VPC, STP, Anycast, IPSEC, SSL, TLS
- 5+ years of experience in Coding/Scripting languages (Python, Ansible, Powershell, Netmiko, Netconf, Napalm, Jinja, Yaml, JSON, API's)
- 4+ years of experience with VMWare platforms and Networking (VMotion, HCX, FXRails, VxRails)
