Basic Qualifications

+ Comprehensive knowledge of bank products/services and regulations preferred
+ NMLS eligibility required; NMLS license preferred (required for lending activities)

Director of Sales Retail Banking


Role Overview

We are looking for a high-energy, dynamic Director of Sales to join our growing team to drive sales of our SaaS platform in the Retail Banking space. In this role, you will identify sales opportunities with both existing Ninth Wave clients as well as new logos and bring them to a close. You will partner with teams such as Marketing, Technology, and Product, to deliver value that directly contributes to revenue and the success of our company. This role is ideal for a proven sales executive who relishes the opportunity to deliver value to clients with a truly differentiated product in a fast-growing and dynamic market. This role is based in our New York City office and follows the Company's current hybrid work policy.


Key Responsibilities:

Through thoughtful and aggressive prospecting, build a pipeline of prospects and upsell/cross-sell existing customer base in the retail banking space

Sell the value and benefit of Ninth Wave to senior executives in retail banking

Effectively communicate retail banking business and technical needs, identifying the best solution that addresses prospective client requirements that provide business value

Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to initial meetings to contract negotiation to close, driving revenue

Collaborate with the extended team (solutions engineer, legal, finance, executive leadership) through sales process and maintain constant communication across the team to support closings

Contribute to product by providing client feedback to help refine product features/functionality to meet client needs


Requirements:

Seven (7+) years of experience selling SaaS solutions to retail banks

Demonstrated ability to close business and exceed targets consistently

Exceptional ability to quickly build a prospect pipeline and create/expand existing networks

Goal oriented approach with customer-centric/solution selling principles and methods

A natural ability to collaborate and work with cross-functional teams to optimize for company outcomes

Experience in a start-up/high-growth firm preferred

Ability to travel

Represent company in trade shows to promote company and build relationships to create new revenue

Complies with the Company in-office policy

Collaborate in-person with teams at our New York City office to drive initiatives
