Job Description
We are seeking several highly skilled and motivated Project Engineers and a Civil Design Project Manager to join our growing office in New York City. Candidates should have 6+ years of experience, particularly in rail/transit design, and will contribute to conceptual, permitting, and final design for a transit project in NYC. The role involves providing engineering design services conforming to applicable codes and standards, as well as developing studies and reports for various stages of work. Candidates will also prepare technical specifications and construction cost estimates.
Responsibilities
+ Provide conceptual, permitting, and final design for transit projects in NYC.
+ Deliver engineering design services that conform to applicable codes and standards.
+ Develop studies and reports for various stages of work.
+ Prepare technical specifications and construction cost estimates.
+ Handle technical design on aviation, transportation, and highway/roadway projects.
Essential Skills
+ 6+ years of experience as a civil engineer designing transportation, rail, and MTA projects.
+ Proficiency in civil engineering, roadway design, and transportation.
+ Experience with Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads.
+ Experience on DOT/MTA projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ EIT preferred.
+ Skills in land development, site development, grading, drainage, and site planning.
+ Experience in highway design.
Work Environment

We are seeking several highly skilled and motivated Civil Design Engineers and Project Managers (design) with over 6 years of experience to join our growing office in New York City. The engineers will have experience in roadway/highway, transit and site civil design. The candidates will provide conceptual, permitting, and final design for several projects around NYC metro area. They will offer engineering design services conforming to applicable codes and standards, develop studies and reports for various stages of work, and prepare technical specifications and construction cost estimates.
Responsibilities
+ Serves as a technical specialist, staff advisor, and consultant to the civil engineering specialty for a given land/site development, public works, and/or transportation-related project or program function.
+ Participates in selecting design teams and sub-consultants and negotiating fees and subcontractors.
+ Perform QA/QC of plans, calculations, specifications, and quantities developed by civil engineering and other project engineers as per IEI QA/QC plan.
+ Prepares proposals for potential projects.
Essential Skills
+ Civil engineering experience with 6+ years civil design
+ Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation/Open roads.
+ Ability to handle technical design on aviation, transportation, and highway/roadway projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Registration as a Professional Engineer or obtaining licensure within six months of hire is required.
+ Experience in land development, site development, grading, drainage, site plan, and highway design.
