Position Purpose:

Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. Your role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver will involve:

• Conducting pre/post-trip inspections of your tractor-trailer and submitting DOT inspection reports.
• Verifying the bill of lading and ensuring proper storage of keys for off-hour deliveries.
• Driving the tractor-trailer to assigned destinations while adhering to commercial driving regulations.
• Keeping a manual or digital driver log in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions.
• Unloading products and ensuring safe delivery inside customer premises.
• Performing additional tasks as needed to support operations.

What we’re looking for in CDL-A Drivers:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A).
• Have a minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating standards.
• This position requires proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English to effectively complete job-related tasks, including safety protocols and work instructions.
