The Cleaner will work under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor and perform a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services. Such duties shall be in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures of C&W Services.

**TYPICAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces (inside buildings).
+ Use light and heavy (commercial type) floor (buffers) and shampoo machines including attachments.
+ Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas. Spot clean daily and shampoo when directed rugs. Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and all other horizontal surfaces including periodic high dusting.
+ Wash windowsills; glass in interior doors, partition, and specified windows.
+ Wash glass and trim at entrance doors, interior/exterior- Wash/spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily.
+ Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily. Standard bathroom procedures are to damp wipe glass surfaces, empty waste baskets, service soap and toilet paper dispensers, dust sills, clean tile walls, shelves, stall partitions, sweep/mop/scrub floors, etc.
+ Monitors possible defects such as clogged urinals and lights out, and reports to supervisors.
+ Collect building trash daily placing it in approved container and place in designated collection area for subsequent removal.
+ Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers per specs.
+ Sweep or shovel snow from steps and walkways at building entrances and connecting walkways/sidewalks as directed.

Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
- Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
- Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
- Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.

- Valid driver's license

**Job Title:** Industrial Cleaners
**Location:** Ontario, CA
**Pay Range:** $20.00 per hour
**Shift:** 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday
**What's the Job?**
+ Clean and sanitize machinery, workspaces, and other equipment using approved cleaning agents and tools.
+ Remove industrial waste and dispose of hazardous materials safely and in compliance with regulations.
+ Perform deep cleaning tasks in hard-to-reach areas (ceilings, vents, ductwork, etc.).
+ Maintain supply inventory and report any shortages or maintenance issues.
+ Document cleaning activities and report any irregularities or equipment malfunctions.
**What's Needed?**
+ Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods.
+ Familiarity with safety procedures, chemical handling, PPE requirements, and cleaning machinery.
+ Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
+ Ability to understand and follow FOD prevention guidelines and safety protocols.
+ Prior experience in industrial cleaning, preferably within aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing environments is preferred.

**Basic Qualifications:**
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- No experience required and on the job training provided
- No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Customer service experience
- 1 year of similar work experience
**Responsibilities:**
- Clean and maintain buildings/facilities
- Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
- Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
- Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
- Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks
- Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
- Wash and replace blinds
- Gather and empty trash
- Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks
- Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms
