Job Summary

We’re looking to hire two hard-working Cleaners in the Moundsville area who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our buildings. You’ll be responsible for all cleaning duties including (but not limited to) dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning restrooms, and trash removal, in addition to reporting maintenance issues such as light bulbs needing replaced or malfunctioning toilets. The ideal candidates must have a great work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, and take pride in a job well done.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building

Vacuum carpets, mop floors, clean restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily

Clean windows, supply restrooms, and report minor repairs on a regular basis

Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees

Secure the building by locking doors once cleaning is complete

Write reports of areas cleaned and send to office staff

Qualifications

Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent

At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services

Driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to drive own car to sites on route

Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment

Excellent stamina and physical health

Hourly wage of $16.00

Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Utilize appropriate equipment and supplies to thoroughly clean restrooms ensuring all contents including toilets, floors, mirrors, partitions, vents, sink areas, and trash receptacles are prepared to provide a safe and comfortable guest experience.

Clean and maintain theater and surroundings by effectively operating cleaning equipment which may include backpack and upright vacuums, trash compacters, chemicals, mops and brooms, carpet cleaners, steam cleaners and floor cleaners.

Maintain entrance and lobby areas, as well as checking parking, theatre and lobby lighting to ensure a safe and clean environment for all guests and employees. Maintain and organize cleaning storage to ensure supplies and equipment are secured in an efficient and safe environment.

Continually monitor and evaluate essential cleaning supplies to ensure inventory is able to support immediate and ongoing guest needs.

Organize and disperse requested cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure products are readily available for use by guests and employees.
