What You'll Do:

The Advertising Platform's Data Insights team is seeking a Client Insights Specialist for our App Store ads business! You'll join a new team that evaluates, sources, refines, and presents powerful insights to help our advertising customers get the most value out of their investment in Apple Ads.
This team’s data-driven and sophisticated analytical approaches use internal and external data sets to identify key opportunities (e.g., improving advertiser understanding of marketplace dynamics; assisting in design and execution of advertiser experimentation; conducting client pilots for new insights; analyzing unique, client-specific opportunities).
In this role, you will identify the right metrics and work with our external-facing sales team to articulate strong narratives to our customers. As such, this individual needs the right analytical skill, storytelling prowess, and cross-functional experience. This individual will:

About the team
The Client Insights team focuses on helping clients get the most value out of their data. We rely on analytics and data science to help clients improve their policies, better detect fraud, and stay up to date with industry best practices. The Client Insights team is made up of data scientists and data engineers who are working to deliver in-app tools that leverage client data to enhance the agent experience and quicker detect fraud.
What you'll be doing
- Apply statistical and machine learning methods to build customer-facing models.
- Work closely with application engineers to operationalize models you've built, ensuring they meet rigors for customer usage, including model performance tracking and having mechanisms to retrain models.
- Take the initiative to innovate on our current models and apply new methodologies to new and existing problems/projects/products.
- Thought leadership around data governance and standardization
- Set standards for feature/variable definitions
- Produce documents that give visibility into the data pipelines you've built.
- Partner with engineering and product leads to provide guidance and leadership in roadmap planning.

- Client briefing: In-market: Ensure the team receives client briefing as per the briefing form with all areas filled and client probing is done for clarity. - Proactively partner with necessary senior stakeholders to prevent potential roadblocks and toremove them whentheyarise
- Drive customer satisfaction, ensuring the team delivers thebest in classanalyses and relevant and impactfulinsights
- Be a bi-lingual (CPS+RMS) team leader,/ strategist:
- Demonstrate an everyday Consumer- driven marketing culture
- Probe and provoke clients to more business questions toanalyzeconsumer behavior
- Generate CPS Leads (upsell contracts, ad-hoc, CAS)
- Persuade win-back clients on NIQ's superior CPS proposition
- 5+ years of experience in the CPG industryand/or related sales, category management, marketresearch
- Prior experience with NielsenIQ(or similar) solutionspreferred in analytics space, including POS/Paneldata
- Experience in leading or coaching teams
- Strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets/Slides
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English (some local jobs might require English)
- Digital savvy
- Fast learner of concepts/tools/analyses
- Display ability to incorporate deep industry knowledge and Thought Leadership into analyses
- Proficiency in pulling, analyzing, and incorporating all NielsenIQ data sources that are relevant to the client(s) - i.e. RMS, Homescan, Omni, Spectra, etc
- Proficiency in utilizing Discover and helping diminish/eliminate client concerns & roadblocks in order to drive usage
- Ability to coach others in data analyses and working with NielsenIQ tools
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $92,000-$120,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
